  1. Mocap system guidelines:
  2. -Stored under the desk is the mocap pc, which is where you power it on. Log in like any other Drexel computer, which is what gives you access to record onto the system.
  3. -To the right of the PC, the switches on the AETM-switcher-looking thing isn't required to use the mocap system, but does provide additional quality of life features. Also allows for you to record things onto zoom, or obs, for the purposes of demo reels. Black magic design specifically for video feeds. Connect black magic to sync up timecode.
  4. -First thing to do is looking at system, and seeing which cameras are connected. Green means the cameras are on, calibrated, and sending data. Yellow warning signs means it might be hot or overheated, red means cameras have been shaken out of position.
  5. -Click next to genlock, it's blue because they're not selected, click the box to select it.
  6. -Next up is calibrating the system, camera calibration, which opens up a new panel. Run through the various stuff, like masking which takes a good amount of time, doing the stick wave calibration,
  7. -Following in the camera calibration window is the setting of the origin, legacy y up orientation is unchecked. Set the wand on the ground in the center. Crosshair center is where the lights should be on the wand. Also when setting the floor, use five markers out of the drawers of the stands.
  8. -Record to the server on the computer, transfer over to a flashdrive if you like.
  9. -There's a chart for the given markers for a suit, uh, the best one are 14mm, 63 on a person at a time. They need to be washed after use on the second floor.
