- Carolina slipped around a muscular thug, spinning him in a circle to use as a shield. Bullets pelted the back of her armor, but it was holding for the moment. The human shield absorbed a shotgun blast that should have torn a hole in Carolina's chest, and as his corpse slumped over, Carolina vaulted his body and scissor-kicked the gun in the man's hands. It spun around 180 degrees, and she grabbed the handle and used it to blast its owner into the Stone Age.
