  1. Jump 9: Modern Action Movie
  2. >Card: The Devil (Being seduced by the material world and physical pleasures.)
  3. >Age: 50
  4. >Location: Still somewhere in AMERICA (fuck yeah)
  5. >Identity: Wasbody (+20 years, was 30)
  6. ...so, used to be in the game and left? That means I either retired, or was forcibly retired. At least that means I've got my pension.
  7. >Drawbacks: Hit (+200), Wrong Place, Wrong Time (+300)
  8. ... and now that I'm not a cop, everyone that I pissed off over the years is either paying someone to kill me, or trying to kill me themselves, while I keep stumbling across everything wrong that ever happens wherever I go. How delightful.
  9.
  10. >Trade Secrets (Free)
  11. By now, I should definitely know all the tricks. Especially if I ended up becoming a corrupt cop, which... it kind of seems like I did. Best that I'm out of the game now.
  12. >Opportunity Awareness (1400, discount)
  13. Granted, I could probably do this to an extent with martial arts before, but now this goes to a much higher level.
  14. >Killer Luck (1200, discount)
  15. Considering what's going on, this is a must. It's not plot armor, but it's nice.
  16. >Kek (600)
  17. Multitasking is always a plus. Planning things out, getting allies to understand my intentions with subtlety... that is very valuable.
  18. >Still Got It (300, discount)
  19. I start out at age fifty. Zero decay of my skills from age is rather crucial.
  20. >Nice Car (200, discount)
  21. Well, of COURSE I have to have a car. I have to get around SOMEHOW. And having insurance that replaces it when something happens is just a plus.
  22. >Custom Sidearm (0, discount)
  23. And having a gun that just screams 'fuck you' is always a plus. You know what sounds good to me? A large caliber revolver. And if the ammunition never runs out, it just makes it all the better.
  24.
  25. Honestly it seems like I kind of fell back into the same role after a ten year timeskip. Though that's far from the worst thing that might happen. (Of course, cops generally retire after twenty years, so if I started being a cop just before the last jump, I'd retire just before this one.)
  26.
  27. It seems that I became a corrupt cop, but rather than embrace that entirely, tempting as it is... I should atone for my sins. Turning a blind eye or being on the take... it's an expected thing in many places, if you want to live to retirement, but when they come after you anyway because you know too much? Sudden, but inevitable, betrayal.
  28.
  29. According to the dice, I have two major crime organizations (which I'm going to guess to be the Russian mob and the Yakuza, because movies), an international drug cartel, a shadowy conspiracy, and a professional assassin who's hiring OTHER assassins, all coming after me. Yeah, this is enough to have a whole series of movies about this jump. It'll be ... interesting. Perhaps I'll be able to leave the world a better place than it was when I got here.
