  1. You'd all be hearing the pattering of hooves across the cobblestone path. Tonight will be the apprentices very first hunt -- an initiation to hopefully prove to the guild that you were all worthy of carrying the title of Shadow Hunter. As our Hunters recall, Grandmaster Garland had informed you all that there would be beasts lurking within the small rural town of Stutton. For all this time of knowing the Shadow Hunters, they'd always have the seemingly supernatural ability to detect beasts and their patterns. How they achieved such a feat, however, remains unknown to you all. Unfortunately, it was now dark, the only thing illuminating the path ahead is a pair of oil lanterns swaying and jingling about either side of the carriage.

  4. Regardless you all eventually arrive at a pair of gates ahead. A young woman can be seen standing ahead, squinting. She's dressed in traditional white, gold-hemmed robes you'd all likely see on a church goer. She makes several gestures towards the two towers at the front of the gates, causing a flame to ignite at the tops of either tower. The bell of the church tolls nearby, and the gate begins to open for you three to enter Stutton. Several shadows can be seen moving within the darkness ahead -- you'd all assume that these are the citizens walking or jogging away to find their way home. It was common knowledge that it was entirely up to a Hunter to determine whether or not a commoner was beast or man, meaning that everyone was looking to either find safety in the church or hide within their homes for the night.

  7. Regardless, the carriage comes squealing to a halt. The woman remained standing, eagerly awaiting for the Hunters to exit the carriage. The rider looks over his head, sporting a crooked smile filled with yellowed teeth. "G'luck on your first hunt. Aine be with you." He mused.
