  11. Where are the training wheels?
  12. Bicycle training wheels are mounted on the rear axle of a bike and do not work with every bike. While most kids’ bikes found at big-box stores come with or can accommodate them, many higher-ends kids’ bikes cannot.
  13. What is the best bike in descenders?
  14. Descenders: The 3 Best Bikes, Ranked 1 Conclusion. 2 Hardtail. 3 Enduro. Function: The Enduro bike is a great option if you prefer to be a master of all, both speed and tricks. 4 Downhill. Function: The downhill bike is great for moving at high speeds, and it’s a very safe option because of its high stability stat.
  15. Are training wheels supposed to wobble?
  16. Are training wheels supposed to be uneven? It depends! If your child is uncomfortable with them being uneven, you may want to temporarily lower them so that they become more even. As they get more comfortable with riding however, you should raise them again so that your child tips slightly side to side.
  17. How should training wheels look on a bike?
  18. The wheels should be set so that the bike can lean a little before the wheels touch the ground. This helps kids get the feel of balancing the bike and leaning it to steer. It also ensures that the training wheels can’t lift the driving wheel off the ground on uneven surfaces.
  19. How do you get Lux?
  20. How to obtain. There are 30 Lux items in total – 5 Rares (Reflectors) and 25 Extraordinaries. A rare item, with a blue background, requires 10k Reputation (henceforth shortened to ‘rep’) in a run for a 20% chance, up to 50k+ rep in a run for a 100% chance, to obtain.
  21. Does my kid need training wheels?
  22. The balance that children learn by riding a balance bike is all they need for eventually riding a pedal bike. Training wheels only provide an unnecessary crutch during transition stages. In fact, training wheels only teach children how to ride a bike with training wheels!Apr 27, 2021.
  23. Is it easy to bike without training wheels?
  24. In fact, it can be super easy and even fun once you know the trick to getting it done. What’s even better is there doesn’t even need to be any tears, falls, or aching back for you! Teaching kids to ride a bike without training wheels has never been easier once you know these easy bike riding tips.
  25. What does the R mean in descenders?
  26. Reputation, or Rep, is the primary method for Descenders to mark your achievements. Rep pulls double duty in Descenders, acting both as a marker of skill (higher Rep places you in higher skill ranks) and also as a method of gaining new cosmetic items, some of which only drop at higher levels.
  27. When should I remove training wheels?
  28. Typically, age 4 to 9, but most children can accomplish it at the earlier end of the spectrum, given appropriate instruction and encouragement.
  29. How do I keep my training wheels tight?
  30. Simple answer – do the bolts up tighter. Bolts for training wheels are pretty hefty, it’s hard to over tighten them with a hand wrench. If you don’t have a suitably long wrench that will allow you to get the torque you need, you can extend the wrench handle with a length of metal pipe.
  31. What age can a child ride a bike without training wheels?
  32. Start when THEY are ready! On average, children should have the appropriate gross motor skill development to learn to ride a bike without training wheels between 5-6 years of age.
  33. Are stabilisers meant to touch the floor?
  34. If stabilisers are fitted correctly, the bike should rock a little side to side. If the stabilisers are both touching the ground all the time, your child will never appreciate natural balance and will rely too heavily on them.
  35. Do frog bikes have stabilisers?
  36. They can learn to balance and scoot around on their bike, and when they feel ready, just add the pedals. Should you decide that you need stabilisers for a while, the best ones we have found for the Frog 40 and 48 are the EZ Trainer Suspension Stabiliser 12-16″ Wheel from Adie.
  37. What size stabilisers do I need?
  38. For the most part you can ignore the 7u size, unless you have a custom keyboard. All of the other larger keys on your keyboard (that aren’t the spacebar) will require a 2u stabilizer. If you have a full-sized keyboard, you’ll need: 6.25u stabilizer x1.
  39. Who invented training wheels?
  40. In the two centuries since Drais’ invention, we’ve seen a lot of improvements—and more than a few mistakes. In 1949, as car ownership for adults was becoming more common and the bike industry began marketing bikes for children, Huffy introduced the first training wheels.
  41. Can you put Stabilisers on any bike?
  42. Weldtite bike stabiliser derailleur kit allows you fit stabilisers to any bike with gears to wheel, by extending the rear axle. This will give you the extra confidence needed when learning to ride.
  43. How do you get mods on descenders?
  44. Players could design their own maps using Unity, and import them into the game. To play mods in-game, on the Steam version only, select Ride from the main menu, then select Mods. The game will load up all the mods you have installed; if there are none installed, select the option to Open Mod Browser.
  45. How do you jump higher in descenders?
  46. It is achieved through pressing down D (or holding the right joystick up on the Xbox One controller) before hitting a ramp. Pumping, on the other hand, makes you stick to the ground and gives you a speed boost on ramps to achieve greater height.
  47. Can you play descenders with keyboard?
  48. These are the bindings for Descenders. Only keyboard bindings are re-bindable. There are 5 types of tricks that can be done by pressing C (on keyboard), LB (on Xbox controller), or L1 (on PlayStation controller) – the directions listed indicate the direction in which to press the key/move the stick.

  64. Bonus World
  65. Bonus Worlds are handcrafted nodes in Descenders. These are special nodes that have a unique aesthetic and mechanic to them.
  66. Contents
  67. Career Bonus Worlds [ ]
  68. Typically, there is one special node in each region in Career; Career-Plus does not have any special nodes. To locate a special node in any region, divide the map in half horizontally, and look for the node on the outer edge of the map, opposite to the Boss Jump node - the special node will, with a few exceptions, be located along this side of the outer edge. On the cases that it isn't, it will be located at the other side's outer edge instead.
  69. Completing the bonus objective(s) in a bonus world will unlock the ability to play them in Freeride, without the need to key in the seed. Completing all of these 5 Bonus Worlds listed below will award the Go The Extra Mile achievement.
  70. Region Node Bonus Objectives Seed Highlands Construction Site Reach the top 1001 Forest Mega Ramp Get 5000 rep in a single combo 1002 Canyon Ranch Superman Backflip, 540 No Hander, 180 Can Can^ 1003 Peaks Moon Collect DESCENDERS 1004 Volcano Kids Room Collect 5 toys 1005^^
  71. ^None of the bonus objectives can be fulfilled on the Hardtail. ^^The Kids Room seed is unusable until the Volcano boss jump is beaten.
  72. Bonus Worlds without a region [ ]
  73. These special nodes are not tied to a region. The Mt. Palumbo "bonus world" is the main overworld hub, with a seed attached to it to allow players to select it in Freeride or a Casual Lobby.

  75. Bike Parks [ ]
  76. If any bike parks are marked with these symbols, they are not available on that particular version of the game:
  77.
  78. - not available on the Xbox version of the game
  79. - not available on the PS4 version of the game
  80. - not available on the Switch version of the game
  81.
  82. In most cases, missing bike parks will come to their respective platforms within a few weeks; do not attempt to join the track using the seed if it is not currently on the platform.
  83. In some cases, the bike park is too technically demanding for the platform; hence, some bike parks are not available on the Switch version despite already being out on other consoles.
