Tankiejerk 10/9 incident announcement

Hi all, apologies for the ping, but this concerns moderation here and we feel it’s better to be transparent and open about this.

Jack, over the past few weeks you have:

1. Been rude and argumentative with both users and mods
2. Ignored our concerns about bans and other disciplinary actions
3. Blocked MK and Ran
4. Silently removed almost all of us as discord mods – this happened only a few hours ago
5. Silently removed Wilson’s vetting permissions, making yourself the sole vetting person
6. Ignored all of our messages directed towards you

Since you haven't responded to any of our concerns privately, we are making it public.

This is, quite frankly, childish, rude, and disrespectful. You are, without joking, acting like the stereotype of a petty discord mod gone rogue.

This is only happening because we challenged you on certain moderating issues. You are punishing us because we opposed banning certain individuals, or wanted to vote on it first. You are abusing discord’s hierarchy and abandoning any anarchist principles.

You said, on the 26th, that you would not do moderating anymore. You broke this three days ago, and have done all of the role removals since.

This is unacceptable. We cannot work with you if you are going to act above us all.

We are therefore asking you to:

1. Restore all of our former permissions
2. Step down as a moderator indefinitely
