  1. You can find stuff on the uploader, pixiv, in (pastebin) collections etc.
  2.

  4.
  5. http://www.pixiv.net/search.php?s_mode=s_tag_full&word=Elona
  6.
  7. All of the files you'll be using should have the .bmp extension. If it's something different, such as a .png, open in mspaint or gimp or the like and save as .bmp.
  8.
  9. =======================================================================================================================================
  10.
  11. PORTRAITS
  12. Create or find a .bmp of 80x112, drop it in your elona/user/graphic folder and name it face[number] (e.g. face1).
  13.
  14. TO CHANGE PORTRAIT: press P in the character menu and you can scroll portraits from ones you put in the user/graphic folder (they show up as u[portraitnumber] on the other side of the default portraits).
  15.
  16. =====
  17.
  18. STATIC PET SPRITES
  19. Drop a 48x48 (that's one tile, or the standard size for most elona sprites) or a 48x96 .bmp (tall creatures) in the elona/user/graphic folder and name it pic_[number] (e.g. pic_1). You can (i)nteract with a pet and use the shapechange option to change it into the corresponding number.
  20.
  21. =====
  22.
  23. ANIMATED PLAYER CUSTOM CHARACTER SPRITES (AKA PCCs)
  24. These are the animated sprites the player character uses. The standard sprites used by the game are pcc_body_1 and pcc_body_2 in the graphic folder. If you want to use a different one: Grab a spritesheet (128x192, .bmp), throw it in the elona/graphic folder and rename it to pcc_body_[number] (e.g. pcc_body_3). You can select it in the appearance window.
  25.
  26. WHEN USING A CUSTOM PCC, set all hair and clothing to 0 (none) as well as eyes in the set detail menu. Chances are your custom sprite is not made with vanilla proportions, and so all the pre-existing hair/clothes/etc wouldn't fit on it.
  27.
  28. Now the custom body you select will show up without those overlapping it, but armor you equip will still overlap as though it were a standard body. To get rid of that, you need to use a dresser furniture item, which allows you to toggle chest/leg/belt/glove/mantle gear from showing. There's a dresser in a small room to the southeast of Palmia, and one in the royal bedroom.
  29.
  30. =====
  31.
  32. IMPORTANT: For all of the above, resize your files appropriately. Some image properties such as color space information can cause the file to crash the game or not display properly. If you just use mspaint and save as .bmp, there shouldn't be a problem. If you still have issues, use an image editor such as GIMP and check when exporting/saving the file. Tick the box do not save color space information and save as 24-bit R8G8B8 under advanced options.
