40. James Clayton is one of the top prospects in the new crop of CIA recruits. His intelligence and unconventional attitude attract the attention of veteran Walter Burke who squires him through the Agency's difficult training courses and helps him to quickly rise through the ranks. Clayton is then given a special assignment, to root out a suspected mole that has infiltrated the Agency.
41. In an era when the country's first line of defense, intelligence, is more important than ever, this story opens the CIA's infamous closed doors and gives an insider's view into the Agency: how trainees are recruited, how they are prepared for the spy game, and what they learn to survive. James Clayton might not have the attitude of a typical recruit, but he is one of the smartest graduating seniors in the country - and he's just the person that Walter Burke wants in the Agency. James regards the CIA's mission as an intriguing alternative to an ordinary life, but before he becomes an Ops Officer, James has to survive the Agency's secret training ground, where green recruits are molded into seasoned veterans. As Burke teaches him the ropes and the rules of the game, James quickly rises through the ranks and falls for Layla, one of his fellow recruits. But just when James starts to question his role and his cat-and-mouse relationship with his mentor, Burke taps him for a special assignment to root out a mole. As the suspense builds toward a gripping climax, it soon becomes clear that the CIA's old maxims are true: "trust no one" and "nothing is what it seems."
42. I hope Al Pacino got paid well to be associated with this terrifyingly dull and predictable movie. He gives a professional performance. However, Colin Farrell is a bad actor. He has one and only one facial expression, pain.

Besides bad acting, the film is 100-percent predictable. If you like Al Pacino, get a movie with a better script like Insomnia. If you like Intelligence Agency films, get Enemy of the State.
43. the opening of this movie cracked me up. the stalker internet montage followed with the directors homage to cocktail, replacing cruise with farrell was hysterical. crotch (colin) farrell rocks. he's sexy in a way cruise could never be, he just seems dangerous enough to make him interesting. this whole movie is sexy. i love the scene when the fat ugly chick, just kidding, there isn't a fat ugly chick. there is bridget moynahan, far from fat. far from ugly. it was so fun watching the love scenes between crotch, and bridget. two people who have to pretend to have the hots for each other, but really they think the other is trying to kill them, blow up the world, whatever. it's fun to watch their faces, "i love you, but i have to kill you". too funny. al pacino. poor al. if he said nothing is as it appears one more time, i would have walked out, (lie, would have stuck around to see the our two hero's run aroung half naked some more.) fun movie, the real world trains for the cia. only cute folks in this one. the story was predictable, but whatever it was still fun to watch. if you are starting to appreciate crotch farrell, make sure to check out tigerland. great war movie for people who hate war.
44. No matter how seriously everyone works to make the CIA impossibly sexy, the illusion that these pencil pushers are incarnations of Bond, James Bond, is difficult to sustain.
