Lost Paradise

I have just watched half of Cinderella Game
I'll watch the other half later
The "Card Game" is actually much simpler than what I'd assumed
It's just Prince>Stepmother>Witch>Prince with three extra "Option Cards"; Pumpkin Carriage, which forces a draw, Stroke of Midnight, which beats Pumpkin Carriage, and Glass Slipper which does something "So expansive it can't be explained"
Also I didn't expect the game to be all idols for some reason, maybe I read the premise wrong
MC's best friend has the most kansai accent ever
Like more kansai than any anime I've ever watched
Or maybe that's because it's so subtle since it's live action that the intensity of it is unexpected
There was a like... WaSuta esque 15 year old one who stole MC's cards that MC beats by just spamming Pumpkin Carriage since nobody bothered looking up option cards properly
And an SDN48 esque one who tried to seduce the host guy (the obligatory "macabre animal mascot in a suit" stopped her) then she tried to kill Best friend one but that's not allowed so she was disqualified

Anyways, Sana (MC) joined the idol group that totally isn't AKB48 because her sister Sari disappeared whilst she was in it and she wanted to continue her sister's "dream"
Not knowing that Not AKB48 clearly sells it's idols into the Cinderella Game
It's kind of odd in how low key everything is that this could theoretically happen for real (the way they're killed is via an injection to the back of the neck from the heart necklaces), which doesn't feel like how death games usually are
Also in the quarters they sleep in after every card tournament there's a noose, which is like, wow
Anyways, it's actually a pretty fun movie
Surprisingly well written too
Considering it's a live action no budget death game

almost at the very end
there is some very poor reasoning and twist management
But otherwise it's really good
Anyways it turns out Erina (best friend one) beat Sari (sister) in the Cinderella Game the year before but Sari wasn't killed because there was a possibility that her younger sister would be able to participate
And
Then "It's kind of odd in how low key everything is that this could theoretically happen for real" this gets thrown out because
it turns out that not only are the host and the two mascots watching
So are like, streaming viewers who vote (which is how they get the points to buy Option Cards, views and likes)
And so it turns out one of the mascots is Sari in disguise and she was so shaken by ever being overtaken in idol activities by her younger sister that she played the Cinderella Game and lost
Luckily [refer to circumstances above]
Anyways, Sana is apparently over being the good one and is like "I WANT TO BE TOP IDOL"
so she uses Glass Slipper, which is apparently just a really expensive instawin Option Card
Anyways she kind of loses it and then at the very end she looks into one of the cameras and smiles at having won
But, actually, before this, Suzuka (her and Erina's sempai in idoling and the center of her unit) goes crazy from having to kill people (in fact I thought it would turn out she was the previous Cinderella Game participant but it's clear she isn't)
She steals all of Erina's cards and tosses them off a cliff, then falls of said cliff, and Sana tries to save her
And Erina grabs onto Sana to steady them
But really Erina is just looking to drop them both in the ocean (which she does, but Sana doesn't die)
It was
