  1. On one stormy night, the sky bright with thunder
  2. knock knock at the door - who is that, I ponder
  3. I dash to the gate, open it, I sunder
  4. 'tis a filthy snake, at my mat, down under!
  5. I speak carefully, not to make a blunder:
  6.
  7. ``who be thee, thou spawn of evil?
  8. beast from before medieval
  9. serpent! the tempter primeval!
  10. -- in my soul a great upheaval
  11. ``demon! how come you were tapping?
  12. at my door so gently rapping?
  13. limbless, cursed to move by wrapping!
  14.
  15. The slimy beast hissed, and so before my eyes
  16. I beheld a man - in appearance so wise
  17. I recognised him, now without the disguise
  18. My throat unleashing so desperate cries:
  19.
  20. ``Infidel! Once a great wizard,
  21. now a slimy tricky lizard
  22. stealing through the flames and blizzard
  23. what be thy business, ex-wizard?
  24.
  25. Thus he spake, the voice bestowed:
  26. ``son, you walk the evil road
  27. all what I have you once shown
  28. all what you thanks to me own
  29. now shall within you explode
  30. and have I so forebode:
  31. not through Scheme does point the road
  32. in my mind had always flowed:
  33. FORCED INDENTATION OF CODE
