i appreciated the message and i interpreted it as "i'm there for you even if we're not in contact" - which is exactly what you wrote

considering how passive aggressive that message sounded just now, it seems like you just wrote all that because you expected some sort of immense gratitude

i WAS grateful but we hadnt been in contact at the time and i felt that just saying "thank you" might've come across wrong

so i settled for just accepting it and being grateful about it

because you SAID you'd be there even if we weren't in contact
