  1. Model PW-01 Queenbreaker: Cybernetic Enhancement for Kino Inu from Project: Wyvern. Subject has had her damaged arms and legs surgically removed and replaced with high power mechanical prosthetics, resulting in increased strength, speed, and endurance. Photo-voltaic cells embedded in the epidermis provide the system with power, while charging a battery on the spinal column for night-time operation. Battery lasts twelve hours on a full charge. System allows for flight from wings attached to each arm, though flight time is limited by battery life. Battery cannot charge while in use.
  2.
  3. On the ends of the user's fingers are mono-molecular edged talons, allowing the user to tear through most materials with ease. Talons of the same type are also on the user's feet. These talons can deploy and retract by thought, so the user won't harm that which she does not want to. Legs are also strengthened, allowing jumps up to twenty feet into the air. The system also allows the user to fall for more than fifty feet without injury, thanks to shock absorbent construction. In addition, the system is linked to the user's nervous system, allowing her to feel when damage actually occurs.
  4.
  5. User's torso and head is mostly untouched, allowing for normal human activities when off duty. Installed in the user's throat is a powerful flame projector, which is also activated via thought.
  6.
  7. Installed on her spine are two battery packs. One provides power at night, and is charged during the day. The other is replaceable and is only used for emergency purposes. Both can be ejected if need be, either due to damage or for replacement.
  8.
  9. Directly underneath the battery packs is a small attachment port. Here goes the Queenbreaker's most obvious part: The tail. The tail itself is loaded with sharp metallic thorns that can deploy and retract at will, and a small hatch at the end allows the loading of a wide variety of fluids, both lethal and non-lethal in nature. The thorns are designed to draw in the fluid, then break off into something on contact. A new thorn then begins construction from many nano-fabricators, the new thorn being completed in roughly thirty seconds. The tail is heavily armored, capable of deflecting multiple 7.62mm rounds before actual damage occurs. In an emergency, the tail can be ejected and detonated remotely. Queenbreaker's user, Kino Inu, used this feature to lay an elaborate trap for her pursuers during virtual testing. The resultant blast killed three of them and injured five others.
  10.
  11. Underneath the epidermis is a layer of bullet resistant material (capable of absorbing the impact of several 7.62mm rounds), and the dermis is also strengthened. Nanites in the bloodstream help with injury recovery, and improve health in general through the elimination of undesirable microorganisms (those in the intestines are left alone).
  12.
  13. Lastly, Queenbreaker's helmet is equipped with the most advanced electronics available to any military. Automatic IFF tagging, target selection for Queenbreaker's flame or tail projectile, infrared and night vision, and up to one hundred times magnification for observation from a long distance. The helmet's visor polarizes to hide the user's face, and the helmet cannot be removed without either the user's say so or a plasma torch. A cable on the back of the helmet feeds information from her vitals directly to her Heads Up Display, but is not necessary for operation.
  14.
  15. Other improvements include small ducts lining the inside of her jaw for a tasteless, non-toxic flame retardant fluid pumped into the mouth, avoiding third degree burns from her own attacks, and improved filtration for her lungs to allow her to go deep into environs that would ordinarily require a CBRN Suit.
  16.
  17. Users: Kino Inu, further pending.
  18. ---
  19.
  20. Model PW-02 Kingslayer: Similar to Queenbreaker, but lacks the tail-mounted barbs (in their place is, instead, a spiked non-toxic club). In place of those, the system is instead modified for increased flight time and improved agility in the air. The HUD has been tweaked to allow for improved targeting while airborne. The system is otherwise identical to Queenbreaker.
  21.
  22. Users: Pending approval
  23. ---
  24.
  25. Model PW-03 Shinobi: A black armored system designed for Suzaku, meant more for delicate espionage work than other systems. The plating is lighter and thinner, allowing for the user to climb up walls and hang from ceilings with ease. Attached to the arms is a long blade that also acts as the base for the wing. This blade can be 'sheathed' at will, to prevent accidental injury to self and others.
  26.
  27. Like Queenbreaker and Kingslayer, Shinobi is solar powered with a disposable emergency battery. Also like Queenbreaker, Shinobi's helmet polarizes to hide the user's face. Unlike Queenbreaker, however, Shinobi's toolset is all about breaking in, grabbing something (or someone), and then getting out without being detected, like a shadow.
  28.
  29. To this end, Shinobi has an Active Camouflage unit, with variable power settings. The more invisible the user wants to be, the larger the drain on the battery. The photo-voltaic cells cannot function while Camo is in use, due to the light bending nature of the technology. The cells resume function when Camo is turned off.
  30.
  31. Shinobi's tail is equipped with many scale-like knives, which replace themselves automatically from the nano-fabricator at the end of each port. This fabricator takes fifteen seconds to fashion a new blade, which is then immediately ready for use. These blades can be coated in many substances, like Queenbreaker's own thorns. Usually, this is a toxin meant more for disabling the opposition rather than killing them.
  32.
  33. While Shinobi does have wings, it is not nearly as adept in flight as Queenbreaker, and that goes double for Kingslayer. Shinobi's sub-dermal armor is also weaker, and usually cannot take more than a handful of rounds from your run-of-the-mill handgun.
  34.
  35. The HUD of Shinobi, however, is much more sophisticated than either. In addition to the standard thermal and night vision, the system includes Echolocation for increased awareness in settings where thermal and NV are either inaccessible or undesirable. The HUD also includes a suite for hacking into a variety of electronics, ranging from a password-protected laptop to a retinal scanner. Future updates will include a work-around for DNA scanners.
  36.
  37. Of course, on the tips of each finger, Shinobi has a dedicated set of manual lockpicks for work with actual physical locks. Made of strong, flexible titanium, the lockpicks are nigh unbreakable. In conjunction with the camo unit, this gives Shinobi the ability to break into the most secure of places with more ease than entire espionage groups.
  38.
  39. Users: Suzaku, more pending approval.
  40. ---
  41.
  42. Model PW-04 "Nomad": The first set of cybernetics that requires a miniaturized fusion reactor due to the extreme amount of power required to run the entire system. User Roy Alomar is the first to use the Nomad system, bringing to bare everything learned up to this point. Essentially an Electronic Warfare unit, the Nomad is classified as "Assault" due to the heavy armor and armaments it carries. The suit has half-inch thick plating of an experimental type of titanium, maintained by a network of nanites both inside and out. During its test run, Nomad took an RPG-7 to the chest and kept moving, a scorch mark the only evidence he had been hit at all.
  43.
  44. Said armor covers over the first of the unit's weapons: An EMP Emitter. Nomad's systems are hardened to prevent self-harm, allowing Nomad to use the EMP with impunity. This EMP has been shown to disable Queenbreaker's systems entirely, and cause Shinobi's Active Camouflage to fail. In addition, Nomad has a particle beam emitter on the helmet, where the mouth would be. The beam has been shown to punch clean through flesh and steel alike, rendering traditional defenses nigh useless against it. This weapon can be turned during firing, reducing the chances of missing. The EMP requires ten minutes to recharge and reset, while the particle beam requires a staggering fifteen minutes (with a firing time of ten seconds).
  45.
  46. The fusion reactor requires helium as fuel, which is stored in two small cells in the torso. Additional reserve cells are embedded in the tail, and per usual the tail can be disconnected in an emergency. The tail also carries five barbs (two on each side and one on the end), which can be used as an impromptu melee weapon. These barbs are fastened to the tail, and cannot be used as projectiles.
  47.
  48. Multiple failsafes prevent the reactor from going critical, up to and including ejection of the entire assembly to prevent the death of the user. Like all models, Nomad has a backup battery. However, this battery is heavier than standard to allow Nomad to continue operations or retreat for repairs.
  49.
  50. As the name suggests, this unit is for long campaigns in harsh climates. As such, the Nomad contains improved climate control, set to the user's comfort levels. Multiple microscopic ports all over the body ferry water through a filtration system and then into the stomach, where it is then distributed where needed. This filtration system is also included in the lining of the esophagus, allowing the consumption of water from...questionable sources in the event of extreme need. The system can also provide nutrients for up to six months before needing maintenance.
  51.
  52. Nomad's HUD provides all the information the user needs for combat, and has an additional view mode, like Shinobi. Unlike Shinobi, this view is Electromagnetic. Nomad can, under the correct circumstances, detect opponents through their bioelectricity alone.
  53.
  54. Nomad is equipped with wings, placed on the back for maximum lift. While lacking the mobility of Queenbreaker, Nomad beats her out in flight time by a great amount.
  55.
  56. Users: Roy Alomar, more pending.
  57. ---
  58.
  59. Model PW-05 "Seraphim": The second fusion-powered cybernetic set, user Zei brought the full power of this Heavy Assault unit to bear during her test run with it. Sporting one-inch thick depleted uranium plating, all together her enhancements make her weigh in at just over one ton. She is to Nomad what Nomad is to Queenbreaker. In place of an EMP unit is an advanced cryo generator, capable of shooting a gout of ultra-chilled gas onto an opponent. At just a hair above absolute zero, this is capable of transforming soft flesh into solid ice in mere seconds. In place of the particle beam is a heavy napalm launcher, which in turn burns at five thousand degrees fahrenheit.
  60.
  61. Her armor is comparable to tank armor in both weight and protection, and as such, Zei required specialty strengthening of her bones and muscular structure to be able to support it. This strengthening allows Seraphim to lift a car with ease with her armor on, and without she can lift the cab of a semi-truck. Seraphim has taken a tank shell with little in the way of a reaction, aside from complete destruction of the opposing tank.
  62.
  63. Her wings, much like Nomad, are situated on her back. They too provide more lift and flight time than Queenbreaker or even Kingslayer. Her backup battery, much like Nomad, is heavier than normal to allow for greater operational time. Seraphim's tail contains additional helium tanks for fuel use and, like the rest of her, is armored to the point of being ludicrous.
  64.
  65. Her HUD displays weakpoints in enemy armor and fortifications, allowing her to do her job that much more effectively. The only model that allows outside weaponry to be attached, her back has an additional port for a missile rack, with her HUD allowing swift lock-on and tracking. To make Seraphim that much tougher, the electronics supporting the HUD and other subsystems are hardened against EMP. While not totally immune like Nomad is, it takes a much larger blast to knock Seraphim out of action.
  66.
  67. Seraphim's nanites are at a double concentration in her bloodstream, allowing for a much swifter recovery after receiving wounds on the battlefield. In addition, the nanite 'highway' that repairs the unit's armor is also at a double concentration. In the event that the armor is punctured, Seraphim's epidermis is hard like steel, and the unit's dermis harder still.
  68.
  69. Unfortunately, the unit is...rather slow. Seraphim also does not have the longevity that Nomad has, trading that for extra strength and firepower. Regardless, Seraphim is the epitome of Project Wyvern's developments thus far, capable of taking all four other units on at the same time and coming out on top more often than not.
  70.
  71. Users: Zei, others pending
  72. ---
  73.
  74. Model PW-06 "Bunker": As its name suggests, it is a defensive system, with capabilities to match. Going back to basics, the Bunker system is solar powered, with a battery backup. The unit has heavy titanium plating in all areas, the thickest being on the shoulders and helmet. Bunker carries a flame mortar on the top of the helmet, and Bunker's HUD contains software to assist with aiming the weapon.
  75.
  76. The unit carries several gas dispensers all throughout the chest and legs, allowing it to make a smokescreen on demand, among other things. Tests are currently in progress to determine capabilities with tear gas and other less-lethal gasses for riot suppression. The tail of the unit contains the tanks for the gasses, with safety cutoffs throughout. The tail, like with all others, can detach in an emergency or for maintenance. Bunker's helmet is upgraded with a brand new air filtration system to prevent the inhalation of gasses from the unit's own vents.
  77.
  78. Bunker has wings for dispersal of fumes, but the unit is too heavy for sustained flight.
  79.
  80. Bunker is currently still in the testing phases, and is not yet available.
  81. ---
  82.
  83. Model PW-07 "Fortress": An upgrade to "Bunker", this replaces the standard plating with the depleted uranium found on Seraphim. It also replaces the flame mortar with a superheated plasma beam weapon. This stream is capable of melting through steel in under five seconds, though the recharge time leaves something to be desired (possible upgrades include adding in a fusion reactor instead of relying on solar power). Fortress' backup battery is designed to last for weeks while running at full power, a testament to its reliability under duress.
  84.
  85. Like Bunker, Fortress has a gas dispersal function. Unlike Bunker, however, Fortress is cleared for use with lethal gasses, including an experimental gas that ignites upon contact with oxygen. The system is virtually immune to fire as a result, remaining unscathed in virtual tests.
  86.
  87. Fortress' HUD is upgraded to change gas dispersal on the fly, and as a result, the tail tanks are larger to support the function. Fortress is capable of carrying three separate kinds of gas at the same time, with the same failsafes that Bunker has. As an added function, Fortress can remote-detonate the tanks for immediate coverage of a wide area.
  88.
  89. This system is still under development, and plans are not yet finalized.
