→ Jae is a child with a mental disorder, Bipolarness. He is great at controlling it too, he acts all innocent and pure just to hide it. Jae was an unwanted child to his family, considering as they wanted him to become a doctor. Jae worked so hard, and ended up failing. He prefers to be a singer in which his family doesn't approve of.

→ At the age of 18, he got a girlfriend. A noona to be exact. Although, in most stories, the girl gets abused. This is difderent, Jae was hurt emotionally and physically. She would call him a disgrace to the family. One day, his girlfriend gave him news, she was pregnant with another man. Jae broke apart, his sickness came back, not being able to control it.

→ Van came along, she took the boy as her own son. Jae told his parents he was moving, which resulted as screaming and fighting. They thought it was for the better though. From this day, he doesn't regret meeting Van.
