  1. Description of strategy shorthand in Late-game fights flowchart:
  2.
  3. - Deathbulge (target) > Deathbulge > Deathbulge | Enemy (target - swap to this person if applicable)
  4. - Delayer Loop = Twang Frenzy until Ian can't survive the next hit, then use Healthy Barry on him
  5. - Pop/Sinner = Use Mega Pop Slap until Ian gets low on Hype, then use Sinner's Breakdown with Briff.
  6. * Sinner usually does more damage, but is very slow, so Pops are usually the better choice, unless it's a final hit.
  7.
  8. Unless specified otherwise, my loadout is:
  9.
  10. FAYE - Face Melter, Summer Jam, Make It Worse* | Vroom Vrooms + Now Now Nows
  11. IAN - Twang Frenzy, Mega Pop Slap, Fortified Flex | Fat Punch Five + Delayer
  12. BRIFF - Pulse of the Possessed, Sinner's Breakdown, Upbeat | God Brain + Purple Lightning
  13.
  14. *Make It Worse is picked up during Hellblivion for 5000 bops, during the Mutilla fight I have Breezin' here, but don't use it. Someone should have the Beakbox beat as soon as you do the menus at the start of Tillatek.
  15.
  16. MUTILLA (L10-11)
  17. ----------------
  18. Make sure Headbang doesn't hit Faye on this first attack, or she won't survive Pain + Trista's attack. This strategy is set up to take Headbang out before he gets a second turn. You have to Mega Pop Rona at least once if you want to take out Trista and Rona on the same attack. When she dies, Trista does Pandemonium, ~175-250 damage on all (Ian takes the most damage). I plan this fight so Briff is the only survivor.
  19.
  20. Sinner (Headbang) | Headbang (Briff)
  21. Upbeat > Summer Jam | Trista (All, 50-60 damage)
  22. Pulse (Headbang) | Rona (Ian, ~90 damage either once or twice)
  23. Delayer Loop + Pop Rona once | Trista final attack (Pandemonium, 175-250HP on all)
  24.
  25. POKALYPS (L11-12)
  26. -----------------
  27. At level 12, you may get some extra turns, or not need as many to recharge Hype for Faye and Briff. Twang Frenzy does significant damage due to there being 4 targets. Malnora gets two turns when setting up the delayer loop, waiting to put on slow until he's used empowered haste, so you can overwrite it. After his second turn, when he hits yellow and takes about 600 damage after that, he'll start Pre-Apocalyptic Thrash, giving you a free turn. If he gets a 3rd turn before this, he'll swap to Pesto if his HP is high, or use Yellblivion (damage + amplify + 2 measures of mad soothe).
  28.
  29. Upbeat > Summer Jam | Malnora (empowered haste)
  30. Pulse > Sinner > Twang x2 > Pop | Malnora (all)
  31. Pulse > Worse > Delayer Loop until yellow, then 2 pops | Malnora (Pre-Apocalyptic Thrash - no damage)
  32. Sinner/Twang/Pop until dead
  33. NOTE: It might be worth looking into using a Faye or Ian Performance for the final hit, since the first hit of a performance seems to damage all enemies at full strength, rather than the reduced damage on backup band members.

  39. ULTIMATE CHAMPIONS (L12-13)
  40. ---------------------------
  41. All the UCs are extra weak to melody, so an extra Sinner's Breakdown or two can be good to sneak into the usual Delayer loop. You want to hit Iris twice before her turn to Inspire her, because Ian can survive Extreme Elbow at L12 and above, but her normal (non-inspired) Beatdown attack will kill him. After this she switches to Rudi, who's much slower. At L13, you may get an extra turn before hers, but be careful.
  42.
  43. Pulse > Pulse | Iris (Ian, ~450 HP, switches to Rudi)
  44. Make It Worse > Upbeat > Sinner > Summer Jam > Heal Ian > Twang x5 (heal) > Sinner/Pop combos
  45.
  46. ||============================================================================||
  47. || Lobby: Equip BOTB on Briff + BEAKBOX, especially if you're still Level 12! ||
  48. ||============================================================================||
  49.
  50. MUTILLA 2 (L13)
  51. ---------------
  52. At level 12, this fight is brutal, at 13 there's a lot more leeway. After the first time, your strategy should adjust to what Ronabot does. Avoid using Sinner or Upbeat if she's just about to get a turn. Use Upbeat+Beakbox to remove Empowered Pain from her loudspeaker attack. Switch to anyone other Faye when she gets a turn. BOTB (or 2-Stoked, if you have it) on Briff can help deal with her worse patterns. I don't know her HP, but it's probably at least 2000.
  53.
  54. Upbeat > Pulse | Ronabot (anyone other than Faye)
  55. Pulse > Worse > Faye Delay > Summer Jam > ??? | Ronabot (anyone who can survive a double attack)
  56. Sinner > Recovery > Delayer Loop | Ronabot (if needed) or Trista (all, ~150hp)
  57. Delayer Loop until Trista goes down | Trista's next attack is a heal, so it's safe to let it happen
  58.
  59. ||============================================================================||
  60. || Lobby: Switch BOTB back to Purple Lightning for Briff ||
  61. ||============================================================================||
  62.
  63. MAELSTRONA (L13-14)
  64. -------------------
  65. Use Upbeat to get 3 measures of haste and Beakbox to get the 4th when it's convenient to give Faye a heal - make sure Faye has ~250HP or more when Maelstrona gets its second turn, in case it does another Eye Beam. I think Maelstrona has 500,000 HP, but only 10k has to be dealt to her directly, the other 490k is from defeating two sets of limbs. Using Faye's Performance on the 2nd set of limbs gives a free 200 damage to the wing, which has very high defense, and boosts attack power for about 45 seconds (real time!), so I use Ian to Pop the cannon during it. There may be other formulations and a lot of variety to this fight, so experiment.
  66.
  67. Upbeat > Sinner | Eye Beam (tank with Briff)
  68. Pulse > Beakbox (if L14) | Cannons of Cacophany
  69. Summer Jam > Pulse > Twang x7 (heals) + Beakbox for 4th haste > Pop/Sinner cannon, then wing | Maelstrona (random)
  70. [Once limbs are gone, heal/hype as needed]
  71. Face Melter x2 | Ululation
  72. Performance (Faye) > Pop Cannon until dead | Cannons of Cacophany* (100-150hp to all)
  73. Pop Wing until dead (Maelstrona's next turn is a windup) | Energizing Chorus* (2 measures of haste)
  74. Pulse > Finish Maelstrona with Pop/Sinner, recovering hype as needed
  75.
  76. *These are the attacks the limbs will do if not killed before their next turn.
