Ex-47

BACKSTORY
Created by a top-secret military organization code-named "Monolith", the Ex-47 (Experiment-47, colloquially known as "pale hounds") are a breed of bioengineered and cybernetically augmented killing machine derived from human stock.

Ex-47 have misshapen yet incredibly durable bodies optimized for strength and speed; many of their organs are atrophied or simplified, including the brain. Most of their primary sensory organs (ears, eyes, nose) are missing entirely, leaving their skulls smooth and mostly featureless.

Once mature, Ex-47 are put through an extensive augmentation process; numerous holes are drilled in the skull, allowing the implantation of advanced sensor mechanisms and digital processors which interface with the brain. Furthermore, a powered exoskeleton frame is anchored to the spine and bolted onto the limbs. The hands are outfitted with razor-sharp claws capable of tearing through armour, as well as injector needles which deliver a potent (if short-lasting) paralytic toxin.

A pale hound's augmentations allow them to tap into communications networks, hack electronic systems, anchor themselves to vertical or inverted surfaces, and see in total darkness.
