  18. I imagine few would be surprised that Demona took to being a villain in this world with gusto, nor that the Conspiracy followed her into it. It's a big world, and there are plenty of places for those who would choose to take up such a lifestyle. I, on the other hand, decided to be a little closer to the plot - while I didn't intend for it when I fudged my enrollment into U.A., I ended up in class 1-A with certain other individuals, which made life interesting all around and gave me a front row seat to the festivities.

  20. Oh, I did what I could - after all, who doesn't want to be a hero? - but as it turns out, it's pretty hard to try to keep someone in a pseudo-tsukuyomi when your eyes bleed on trying to engage it, or to be subtle about doing so. Not to mention using it more than a handful of times a day started to cause vision loss. The vast majority of my physical augmentations had to remain sealed as otherwise the backlash was enough to cripple me, as well, and looking through time gave some pretty serious migraines. So I had a lot of sick days early on. (Not to mention attempting to use my abilities from Evo to get a read on quirks - that outright put me in the HOSPITAL. There were concerns I'd had a stroke. Fortunately, regeneration had very little backlash than an increased need for meals.)

  22. In the end most of what I did in terms of being a "hero" came down to normal ingenuity and muscle power, instead of anything more advanced. Overuse of my eyes would still cause problems, but if I kept it down to relatively brief periods and used it sparingly, I found that it became more manageable. More importantly... if kept in reserve as a trump card, it meant I could still use brute force. Perhaps I wasn't the type who could take down everyone solo, but battlefield support... maybe. Not to mention I always had a habit of pulling a Batman and having the right thing to save the day at hand. Which was of course not a quirk, it just meant that I had a utility belt and was crazy prepared.

  24. Though I will admit one of the things I did while I was there was the introduction of reformulated power boosting pills, the ones I'd picked up in Irredeemable. While the effect was subtle for the most part and almost completely dismissed early on, its eventual effect was revolutionary. Imagine that you're stuck with a single quirk, that it keeps you from living a normal life. What if you could change that quirk? Oh, you can't change the basic nature of your quirk, but you can... stretch it a bit. The foremost test cases presented for that were Hagakure and Todoroki. Imagine that instead of being half hot and half cold, you could be half light and half dark. Imagine that instead of your skin being invisible, you could make anything you wear invisible, or make yourself visible with the effect of a mental 'switch'.

  26. (She was rather cute, I might add.)
  27.
  28. Of course... it saw distribution on the black market as well. Some doctors eventually specialized in working with those who used the little gold pills, but there were many cautions about using them correctly and in moderation. And never, ever, EVER combining them with quirk enhancement drugs.
  29.
  30. All For One tried to do that in the eleventh hour, after all, as everyone well knows. His failure, and his body quite literally falling apart, showed the dangers of not following the instructions on the label.
