- rev looks at a child and is like "ok thats a child. can it read. what can it do"
- rev has no metric for what ages you learn to do certain things
- coaxing montage -- good cop, bad cop, feed the child, trying to guess what children like
- the problem is the only thing eddie is interested in is riding revs motorcycle
- he lets them honk the horn
- "where are your parents?" "i dont have parents."
- eddie ran away from home
- rev did some kind of "eat the rich" crime
- eddie has just been subsisting for like, a week. eating dirt
- poking around in the motorcycle looking for snacks
- terrible protein bars, terrible jerky, trail mix (eddie doesnt care because there isnt chocolates in it)
- is rev an orphan? trying to sympathize with eddie about being an orphan, eddie is like "im not an orphan they just suck"
- maybe rev spots a visible wound on eddie
- rev "im taking to an orphanage"
- bad cop attempt
- get to eddies name
- orphanage has to be introduced now, concrete endpoint that will later be subverted, eddie will be resistant and this will come up throughout
- rev knows its a bad idea to take eddie with him but its so pressing he Has to do it now
- pursuers start to catch up to them, or they hear them
- "oh shit look at the time"
- theyre so excited to share their name
