#O1 | LEADER-LIKE
growing up as the eldest, HWAYOUNG always was the one to lead her sisters, whether it be doing chores or getting out of trouble- out of her siblings she’s the one who’s always leading the pact. growing up, it was no surprise her strict, determined traits gave her the position of group leader during group or class projects. HWAYOUNG always is the one to be the least fearful in confronting someone and she isn’t afraid to ask questions at all. even though she seems strict or too focused on her work sometimes, she’s cautious of her member’s/friend’s health as well, occasionally asking if they’re okay or such.

#O2 | PERFECTIONIST
when she says she wants everything to be perfect with not a speck of imperfection, HWAYOUNG means it. she’s extremely indulged with cleanliness and perfection and if things don’t go her way or gets out of hand, she would most likely scold them. yes, she does want things to be perfect or ‘her’ way but she really doesn’t mind if people pitch ideas or such- she loves to include other people’s ideas into her own, hoping that with other’s ideas, the ending product will be even more perfect than before.

she was gifted with quite the knowledge, probably the smartest out of all her siblings. growing up, she got straight a’s, always- fearing of failure. although most people hate it, she extremely loves studying and learning things. she finds happiness and joy in answering questions and being praised by her teachers.

despite her perfecting ways, HWAYOUNG could be considered a mom friend but not too over the top. she cares for her close friends and relatives wellbeing. she’s one to pamper her friends with gifts but not too much- she’s also that type of friend who’d remember everyone’s birthday and make it a mission for herself to buy everyone gifts.

she always wants to achieve the goals she sets for herself. ━━ BACKGROUND.
the moment HWAYOUNG and her sisters were born, her mother tragically passed away- leading her father to take care of herself and her siblings all her life. growing up, she was aware of how much her father had to do in order to enable herself and her sisters to have a good life, education and health so she usually tried to take care or make sure her sisters did the right thing so her father didn’t have to stress. she essentially took over the mother role in her family, taking care of her sisters and doing the usual chores. because she wanted to help her father while growing up, she also wanted to help her father financially one day so she studied quite a lot, sacrificing going to parties and such just to educate herself and get good grades. it did pay off, she was the highest and smartest student in her grade but her happiness and motivation were slowly plummeting- her only motivation being to impress her father. her father noticed this and told her to not worry about him and to think of what she wanted as he wanted her to be happy when she grew up just like he was. HWAYOUNG for a while didn’t know what made her feel good but realised what made her happy when she took a dancing class. she knew that was it and when she saw an idol perform on tv, she knew she wanted to become an idol.

hwayoung is extremely afraid of insects- such as cockroaches, spiders, beetles, the usual pests.
she is the eldest out of a triplet, her other two siblings, minali and eunjung are also in the entertainment industry.
she’s able to speak korean and chinese, she wants to be able to talk english so she can be able to talk to her international fans.
she’s extremely in love with dogs, she owns two welsh corgis named bree and jiji.
some could say she has a sixth sense, she is somehow able to sense incoming danger. she once saved a dog from a car accident because she had a ‘feeling,’ something was going to happen.
her favourite colours include red and pink, her lucky number is one.
she participated in the survival show, ‘the unit,’ but didn’t make it into the final line up as she came 22nd.
