+Eric Frank __ I would say that "how we watch and share" things is very well studied and understood. And so it would not be inconceivable that we are (easily) engineered to see the same things and have it "seem like" a free choice all along.



I've started referring to "that" process (as well as other phenomena) as the work of the "Algorithm".

As to the term "human psychology". It's good that you can see it "more" than that.



We are the universe witnessing and experiencing itself (quite literally). And so the "human psychology" is also - literally - the universe.



We are in and of the universe - not separate!



And so I use the term/concept of "human psychology" because it's a "safe" term that doesn't frighten people.



Everyone is familiar with some basic psychological oddities (such as thinking about a colour and then noticing it everywhere). However - not everyone reacts well when you talk in terms of the "universe" because it summons negatively impressed associations and the person shuts down etc. ("That's just 'New Age' nonsense!")



So it's "safer" to say "if we focus on a particular colour it is our psychology to notice it more" than _"if we focus on a particular colour the universe reveals more of it to us"!_
