FTB Setup

HERE IS HOW TO INSTALL DIREWOLF20 1.12 USING THE FTB LEGACY LAUNCHER :
Prerequisites :
-At least 4gb of free RAM (if your PC ONLY has 4gb of RAM total it won't be as efficient as the OS and apps will take some of it away)
-A profound hatred for the Twitch launcher and twitch itself
-At least a videocard that isn't put to shame by late 1990s computers

Step one :
Download the legacy launcher here :
http://ftb.cursecdn.com/FTB2/launcher/FTB_Launcher.exe
And start it, you will be asked to set a path in which the launcher will install itself. I personally preferred to set it on d:\ftb since my second drive has space to spare.

Step two :
You will need to create a profile as seen in this GIF to link your minecraft account to the launcher.

Step three :
Do NOT forget to set the used RAM in options to a value that suits your computer best (at least 4gb but you can try 3gb if you really can't do 4), personally i've went with 6gb. If you keep it to 2gb it will get stuck at the loading phase.

Step four :
You will have to install the **Direwolf20 1.12** modpack. Finding it is easy as it sits at the top of the list of FTB Modpacks.
THIS PART IS VERY IMPORTANT AS THE SERVER USES THIS VERSION OF THE MODPACK AND THIS VERSION ONLY!
Before launching it, please check you have selected the right version which is 1.11.0 as seen in this picture :

Now press "LAUNCH" at the bottom right hand of the windows and it will start downloading and installing the modpack.

Step five :
