- 'Sup, doods!
- I should stop watching VTubers. I am getting delusions of being able to get a boost to my audience counts by running long continuous subathons. A “subathon,” for those who do not frequent Twitch, is a bit of a fundraising event where streamers broadcast themselves nonstop for an extended period of time that can be extended further with subscriptions (and bits and donations). Subscription milestones are also set up for special stream content to provide incentive to subscribe. Two VTubers, Ironmouse and Shylily, are rocketing themselves to unprecedented heights with their stupid-long subathons going on for multiple weeks.
- So long as I have a stable full-time job, I could never attempt a subathon that goes longer than a week. That said, I've already had the subscriber goals in place for months, if not years. I've also spent years speedrunning a variety of games that I could revisit so I have no shortage of content. All I would need is an extended amount of time where I was free from work to perform such a thing.
- Thank goodness for vacations.
- I usually take a week off during the week of Memorial Day. That would give me plenty of time after the Tetris Attack tournament to prepare for such an event. I would love to give it a shot then. I will brainstorm it after the tournament.
- Speaking of the tournament, my times are now about as good as they're gonna get for second seed. I can focus on other runs on my Friday streams. I think Easy – V-Hard will make for a good grind. That's what I'll bring to Friday's show.
- That’s my life story for the week. Later, doods!
