If it helps at all, I'm one of the main theorycrafters for Enhancement, and I do agree with your mission statement along the lines of "There are multiple ways to play the game, simcraft can only show you the constraints in which you place upon it".

Just wanted to make sure you understood my background and that I'm not trying to attack you or anything like that. I applaud your efforts at getting your site rolling.
In any case, to put it bluntly, most of enhancement guide is basically pure feelycraft with very little numbers or real experience with the spec to back it up, and unfortunately the posted talent discussion reinforces that.

For example, while Boulderfist and Landslide have clear synergy with eachother (as can be seen here https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1xQqHIlSNHRzavbn5Vh0ap6OX0gu-9ZEM3ITGoU_453Y/edit#gid=1044094011)
Lightning Shield is just far and way the top performing talent in both ST and 3 target situations.
(The 2 most recent tabs at the bottom are pretty up to date with the enhancement changes on beta btw, we've been updating this sheet for many builds now)
And while Landslide is currently extremely powerful in single target, it falls VERY far behind in 2-3 target cleave.
Additionally, a recommendation of Overcharge is a bit short sighted as its okay on ST (although still behind searing assault, adding complexity for no gain), it has exactly zero value in AoE as utilizing it is currently a DPS loss.

We've been struggling heavily back and forth with blizzard for MONTHS now
trying to get talents balanced
but the level of imbalance in some tiers is really horrible

basically lightning shield is an always lock in, every situation
landslide / forceful has ST / Cleave flexibility
searing assault is a lock
sundering is a lock
100 tier has real flexibility
in both ST / AoE
though earthen spike falls pretty far behind on aoe
