  3. >What is Cosmic Break Universal?
  4. Cosmic Break Universal is a reboot of the 2008 Mecha MMO Cosmic Break. The game was infamous for its pay to win and gambling aspects and slowly declined as a result. The game has been reworked with changes to its player economy. It focuses on game balance, the f2p experience, and most significantly wiping the progress of all players. If you have a hankering for mech customization games, give it a try.

  44. >F2P Resource Guides<
  45.
  46. The contents of the shops for F2P and what to aim for in them. Some general tips gleaned so far.
  47.
  48. -Choose the three robots, Aquilla, Hound Dog, and Amateus. The moes can be brought for 20k UC and the only decent one seems to be HD Crimrose while the robots are RT only. If you really want to play with one of the girls on launch drop Hound Dog as Ouka can be acquired easily at game start for melee needs. Investing into Aquilla for PVE is recommended.
  49. -Follow the missions given to you by the 3 Guardians mate, this will reward you with 4 robots, many tuning harmonics and other useful things.
  50. -Complete the Legion War Orders for UC, Garapon Rolls and Tune Up Material. Will be important for F2P Accounts
  51. -Talk to the NPCs surrounding the Angel Academy fountain for a variety of freebies.
  52. -Arcantus Treasure quests can be done for good chunks of UC every monthly reset.
  53. -Bot parts and other tune up material can be exchanged for points in the Ground Area which can be turned into specific tune up items. Would recommend exchanging materials for points instead of bot parts as the flow of materials is fairly constant while bots are limited.
  54. -The limiting resource seems to be UC. XP can be gotten easily from Chaos PVE rooms while tune up mats drop from a variety of sources. Cosmo Harmonics the items needed to up the rate of tune up success cost UC. 6500 for 10 percent and 9000 for 20 percent respectively. Although some are given out on level up and by orders you will need many of them to reliably tune up bots.
  55. -Buy the three monthly garapon roll for 30k UC in the shop
  56. -Before investing tunes into f2p bots try to get a few of the free rolls/robot boxes in case you hit something good
  57. -The most effective UC farm if you are solo is Chaos Battles with a 2xUC ticket brought by mission coins or using a ticket and farming legion wars if you haven't finished the orders. If you have a group of 3 competent players, farm the cactus mission on hard for quick mission coins, convert to 2x tickets and smash legion war rooms until all orders are done for fastest progress.

  74.
  75. Crimrose Alpha [The only current way to obtain original SD Crimrose. Once upgraded to Seraph it is a strong FLY BD for f2p.]
  76. Winberrl Alpha [Has the ability to lock down nearby enemies and decent drawguns, although if you want to play her you might as well farm out the chaos coin version.]
  77. Ice Cream
  78. Artist Brush
  79. Cosmic Cream Soda
  80. Starter Pistol
  81. Tulip Branch
  82. Robo Cube[Perhaps the most important coin trade in the game, 60 angel coins are easy to obtain in a day or two of play and the Robo Cubes can contain a wide variety of bots some as strong or stronger than premium bots.]
  83.
  84. >30 Coins
  85.
  86. Spring Cube[Exact contents unknown but contains accessories, stat sticks, tune up mats generally]

  92. Milk Tea
  93. Bancho Cape

  99. >10 Coin
  100.
  101. Gardening Trowel
  102. Canvas Shield
  103. Claw Hammer
  104. Angel Box [The Angel Box can be exchanged with the Crimrose npc for Crimrose Cubes which have a chance of containing a normal Seraph Promotion item and a FC Promotion item for level 10 Crimroses. The normal one can be used on Crimrose Alpha and has many replacable parts and is quite versatile, the FC can be used on Crimrose HD for Seraph HD. Seraph HD is playable but not as good as Seraph SD. Also used in the Nipako event for limited time items, but don't stress they are mostly mediocre.]

  127. Suzeku GOLD
  128. Seiron GOLD

  132. >30 Coins (Limited Time)
  133.
  134. Forcedriver
  135. Tonitrus [The mech has a TEC based melee arm that is great for Aquilla farming builds or air melee in general. His head is +3 TEC for all types seems to be f2p BIS for m/s tec builds]
  136. Gun Arms Mod [His arms are +3 Tec and can be equipped to LND making them good for TEC based LND, sadly TEC based LND is weak in the meta and lacks good weapons.]
  137. Mediger Sign[His book arms are effective aoe healing that can top the charts. Equip two books on any support chassis for a great F2P healer.]
  138. [Once you have enough parts from them trading them in for junkyard points is an effective use of arena coins.]
  139. Double Magnum

  154. Tune up Cube 3x3
  155. Accessory Cube
  156. Wonder Bit Cube
  157. [Not recommended, both cubes drop from other content and Arcantus.]

  207. Mission Coins
  208.
  209. Before buying from the mission shop keep in mind many of its rewards are available for simply getting medals in the missions. Medals can be obtained by using different bots and to max each mission 15 bots are needed. Missions that replace your team are basically free in this regard.
  210.
  211. For the old missions you need to obtain a higher player rank to unlock harder difficulties Mad and Hell and only need to clear once on each difficulty.
