- So now, after being wrongfully accused of ban evasion, I am now aiming to do actual ban evasion.
- My goals for this are entirely personal. I don't want to sell these accounts as I don't really see much monetary value in it and only ever use Reddit because the alternatives are either way worse for engaging discussion (Facebook, Twitter, 4chan), have too small an audience that moves too slowly (old-timey forums) or way too fast when live (Discord). Reddit is the only mainstream social out there that can still elegantly ride the edge in discourse while staying actually fun and funny, all while feeding my own vanity because I'm often the first to comment and therefore can shape the discussions more directly.
- I realize that this process may take months, even a year, and even then I understand that I can't lapse back to the persona I used on my old account because some mods and admins might be wise to that (at least I have to assume they do). Most of all, I can't use my old phones. But I'd rather keep using Reddit the way I do. And do it soon enough that once I try to get back to r/anime, I can actually comment there again.
