  1. "The Seventh Sense" is a book about the gargantuan and increasing influence of networks, which is largely hidden and misunderstood. Although as recent as the latest app, it starts off with an old Chinese Zen Master, which is a good sign ;')
  2.
  3. Journalists kept opining that Donald Trump's endless and inane Tweets made him unelectable. On the contrary, they were a major factor in his election. P.T. Barnum said there was no such thing as bad publicity; it is even more true that there is no such thing as bad networking. The networking of ISIS, for instance, is quite evil - yet very, very effective.
  4.
  5. Our ancient politicians think bombing Syria or drone-killing Al Quada will work - the terrorists, who understand the networking they do not, know it won't work any more than throwing darts at a pillow hoping they'll stick. You can't destroy a network by destroying some nodes. There are, however, ways to influence a network - and this book is about that. It had also predicted surprise elections due to networking, and boy was everyone surprised.

  7. For all his idiocy, Trump understood what the ancient fogeys who run the Democratic Party, from Harry Reid to Hillary Clinton, did not. And they still don't understand. Reid is whining Trump said bad things. Guess what, that's one of the things that got Trump elected - because even his worst sayings were networked, transformed, and reached those he wanted to reach. I'm not saying it's right; but it's how things will work from now on, and those who claim to be working for the people better get a clue.
