“Precisely. They can only infect you if they’re close enough to breathe on you or if they come into skin-to-skin contact.”
Zula quickly relayed Davis’s words to the rest of the group.
“Brigette told me that the virus is short-lived,” Tamar said. “Once a person dies, they’re no longer contagious.”
“I’ve accessed Gagnon’s medical database, and Tamar’s information is correct. Although it would be best to avoid contact with virus victims for a few minutes after their demise, just to be certain.”
