  13.
  14. On Monday, in front of all her supporters, U.S. marshals placed Rasmea in handcuffs and under arrest. She will be detained until her sentencing, which is set for March 10, 2015. The immediate and urgent task of the national Rasmea Defense Committee is to get her released from jail, so we are writing letters to the judge, planning emergency protests, and even chaining ourselves to the U.S. Federal Court building in Oakland: http://uspcn.org/2014/11/12/oakland-activists-lockdown-u-s-fed-court-to-freerasmeanow
  15.
  16. This protest in Chicago is part of a National Week of Action to #FreeRasmeaNow:

  18.
  19. The defense committee called the conviction on Monday a "travesty of justice," but her arrest pending sentencing is even more egregious, especially since Rasmea is a 67 year old woman who has incredibly strong ties to Chicago and the U.S., and is not a flight risk or a danger to society: http://uspcn.org/2014/11/10/without-a-full-and-fair-trial-rasmea-found-guilty
