- Another Day of Continued Studies
- During those days of silence when no one else was around. Uri found himself seeking comfort in the books contained within the library, always trying to find a solution to an illness or injury. Sometimes letting his mind wander into the darkness of thought, if the science could be taken a step further or if he could find a way to fix the impossible. But, like he thought before, it was impossible. Truly he tried to stick to the basics, but, he figured he'd pick up more on how he could treat wounds that were likely to appear, such as blisters or electrical injuries from elements like lightning. His curiosity lead to a lot of events in the past few days, but now, he could show his true colors, to himself if not anyone else.
- [15:48] For now, young Uri would have to go and dive into his books as a way to make up for any lost time. He would continue to study for a long period of time, going over the basic notes of how to make first aid kits and what tools to assemble. Along with this, he would study the human body parts and the basics of how it works and what could be done to assure a safe treatment.
- Different approaches may be used in teaching or learning about the human anatomy. For instance, anatomical structures may be studied as regional groups, such as the head and neck, upper limb, lower limb, thorax, abdomen, back, and pelvis and perineum. Each of these regions has boundaries. For instance, the head and neck is the region above the thoracic inlet, while the thorax is the region between the thoracic inlet and the thoracic diaphragm.
- Another approach is to group the human body structures according to the major organ systems. These systems include the circulatory, digestive, endocrine, musculoskeletal, nervous, reproductive, respiratory, urinary, and immune systems. In this approach, body structures are grouped together according to their functions. For instance, the circulatory system functions in the delivery of blood and involves the heart, blood vessels, and blood. The musculoskeletal system functions in support and movement, and involves the bones, muscles, ligaments, tendons, and cartilage.
- Anatomical position is the state when a person is standing erect, facing forward, with arms at the side, and with palms turned forward. When studying human anatomy, knowing superficial landmarks is important to be able to determine where a particular organ is located. Surface, or superficial, anatomy involves knowing anatomical landmarks that serve as reference points for deeper structures within the human body.
- "Human anatomy can only be fully understood when basic anatomy terms are known. Basic anatomy terms include superior, inferior, anterior or ventral to, posterior or dorsal to, medial, lateral, ipsilateral, contralateral, proximal, distal, superficial, deep, supine, and prone. An organ has different views based on where the observer is, thus body planes are also important in anatomy. The sagittal plane divides the body into right and left, while the frontal or coronal plane divides the body into anterior and posterior parts. Also called transverse or horizontal plane, the axial plane divides the body into upper and lower parts," Uri read aloud whilst by himself. It was a good way to pass time.

- [16:04] First of all. He would recite the very basics of cleaning a bite from an animal, non-venomous. "As instructed Wash the wound thoroughly with soap and water.
- Apply an antibiotic cream and cover the bite with a clean bandage. But, if the skin is badly torn, crushed or bleeding significantly — first apply pressure with a bandage or clean cloth to stop the bleeding."
- Now his study would lead onto him taking notes on how to treat blisters. For it can be caused by multiple elements such as fire, ice and the friction of sand itself. So, he studied the remedies of it, digging deep to find reliable scripts in order to pass down.
- "If a blister isn't too painful, try to keep it intact. Unbroken skin over a blister may provide a natural barrier to bacteria and decreases the risk of infection. Cover it with an adhesive bandage or moleskin. Cut a piece of moleskin into a doughnut shape and place the pad so that it encircles and protects the blister. Then cover the blister and moleskin with gauze...."
- "The steps, they include but are not limited to...Washing your hands and the blister with soap and warm water. Swabbing the blister with iodine. Sterilizing a clean, sharp needle by wiping it with rubbing alcohol. Use the needle to puncture the blister. Aim for several spots near the blister's edge. Let the fluid drain, but leave the overlying skin in place. Apply an ointment such as petroleum jelly to the blister and cover it with a nonstick gauze bandage. If a rash appears, stop using the ointment. And finally. Follow-up care on the patient, we can't forget to do this, because knowing those magi, they'll just go out and about looking for another fight, injuring themselves more.. So, simply check the area every day for infection. After several days, cut away all the dead skin, using a tweezers and scissors sterilized with rubbing alcohol. Apply more ointment and a brand new fresh bandage."
- He nods his head to the notes he was taking, saving them all in his journal, picking up from the trips he's made to both the library and the hospital room of the church. "Maybe one day I will work here, and help those in the hospital like grandma Elora… Haha she has so many patients, its insane."

- [16:31] Having Lost the PROGRESS (CRASHED AND LOST MOST OF THE RP!) Uri would recite the same practice. Seeing this repeated study as something he could use in the future indeed.
- Electrical Damage Treatment
- The danger from an electrical shock depends on the type of current, how high the voltage is, how the current traveled through the body, the person's overall health and how quickly the person is treated. An electrical shock may cause burns, or it may leave no visible mark on the skin. In either case, an electrical current passing through the body can cause internal damage, cardiac arrest or other injury. Under certain circumstances, even a small amount of electricity can be fatal. Yeah, we know that already, but with us Magi, true lightning and magi lightning might be different in the results of damage... I mean we magi are already pretty damn sturdy... The average man, maybe this would be fatal to him, but us magi, we have endured much, MUCH more than some are lead to believe.
- First and foremost, destroy the source of electricity, if possible. If not, move the source away from you and the person, using a dry, nonconducting object made of cardboard, plastic or wood. Then begin the cardiopulmonary resuscitation practice if the person shows no signs of circulation, such as breathing, coughing or movement.
- Also Try to prevent the injured person from becoming chilled.
- Apply a bandage. Cover any burned areas with a sterile gauze bandage, if available, or a clean cloth. Don't use a blanket or towel, because loose fibers can stick to the burns. After that, you're all good. Their recovery might vary but you shouldn't rush it, you've done your job.

- [21:33] Catching up on his medical lessons. Uri would try to repeat some of his old notes. Mentioning the items as they were. "Clean... Press, and mend... Clean Press and Mend.. And for electricity...Remove or destroy the source, tend to any potential burns and give water to the patient."
- He had many notes to keep track of, but now, he would just stand there. Focused in the pages of medical science and history, wondering how these studies had evolved over the course of time. Maybe one day, he will obtain the blessing of the srars and use that energy to heal, if such were possible.
- He notices Faira, "Hey sis, you're finally out and about again huh?" He refers to the last time he seen her when she seemed...Empty.
