  45. take approximately 30 days to arrive.

  51. payment.
  52. 3. Tapes are transferred onto a name brand video tape.
  53. 4. I've rated the picture quality with a "star" system with a "*****" rating
  54. being original quality. Anything that is **** or better will be very good
  55. video quality.
  56. 5. When ordering 3 tapes or more you receive a 10% discount off the total.
  57. 6. RUSH orders must add $3 per tape.

  60. 7/14/96 SHOOTBOXING FROM JAPAN #1346
  61. 90 minutes at (****1/2 ) quality
  62. This is a very entertaining Shootboxing show from Japan. The main event is
  63. KIMO vs. SAKURABA in a no rules match. Kimo comes out looking bigger than
  64. ever and comes off much more technichal than in previous fights.
  65. Good stuff. Price C
  66.
  67. REALITY COMBAT (UNDERGROUND FIGHTS) #1347
  68. One hour at (*****) quality
  69. This was taped in an abondoned warehouse in Atlanta, GA on 8/17/96.
  70. 1. Chad Bartlett (Pit Fighting) vs. Ian Palmer (Fairn Jiu Jitsu). The
  71. bottom of the defective octagon falls through in a very unsafe first match.
  72. 2. Roger Medrano (??) vs. Dewayne Baker (Kickboxing).
  73. 3. SUPER FIGHT - Dirk Rice ( Wrestling) vs. Keith Mielke (Judo/UFC 8
  74. n
  75. alternate). Match ends quickly when Rice gets on his back and delivers
  76. numerous elbows.
  77. 4. Adrian Sorano (Sambo) vs. Mike ???? (Fairn Jiu Jitsu). Pretty good fight
  78. but Sorano was too much and delivers some good strikes.
  79. 5. Ivan Lee (Fairn Jiu Jitsu) vs. Jason Canalis (??/Extreme II). This match
  80. went over 30 minutes and got brutal at times. Canalis outweighed Lee by
  81. almost 40lbs and couldn't put the 115lbs Lee away. They stood the fight up
  82. after about 20 minutes but Canalis wouldn't lock up with Lee. They finally
  83. did it and Canalis claimed that he hit his head on the steel pole so Lee was
  84. the winner by TKO.
  85. 6. Since Palmer broke his ankle by falling through the octagon in the first
  86. match, he could not continue. The same went for Ivan Lee so the final was:
  87. Roger Medran vs. Adrian Sorano. Sorano wins with some hard shots to the face
  88. of Medrano.
  89. Price A

  91. VALE TUDO VARIETY TAPE #1348
  92. Two hours at (*****) quality
  93. This tape has tons of stuff on it including clips from the 7/7 Vale Tudo show
  94. and Universal Vale Tudo matches from 8/4/96 that are still not available
  95. anywhere else.
  96. UVT - CARLOS DANILO (BRASIL) vs. HIROSHI OYAIZU (JAPAN)
  97. EUGENIO TADEU (BRASIL) vs. NIGEL SCANTLEBARY (BARBADOS)
  98. PEDRO OTAVIO (BRASIL) vs. MANABU OHARA (JAPAN)
  99. HUGO DUARTE (BRASIL) vs. HAROLD HOWARD (USA)
  100. 7/7/96 clips of Severn, Zinoviev, Hotta, John Lewis and tons more.
  101. Japan TV shows with Masa Funaki and another with Rickson and Yoji Anjoh (the
  102. guy Rickson mutiliated two years ago when he came to Rickson's dojo) Funny
  103. seeing them together.
  104. A
  105. EUROPEAN UFC #2 #1349
  106. Two hours at (****1/2) quality
  107. This was taped on 4/21/96 in Emmen, Netherlands and has English commentary.
  108. 1. Rick Anderson (Sambo) vs. Sean McCully (Muay Thai)
  109. 2. Eduado Rocha (Jiu Jitsu) vs. Alexander Zalluski (Wrestling)
  110. 3. Willie Peeters (Free Fighting) vs. Allen Harris (Newaza)
  111. 4. Hubert Numrich vs Tim Tubas (shootwrestling)
  112. SEMI FINALS
  113. 5. Eduardo Rocha vs. Rick Anderson
  114. 6. Willie Peeters vs. Hubert Numrich
  115. FINAL
  116. 7. Willie Peeters vs. Eduardo Rocha.
  117. This is an exception tape and HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. It's fully of brawls as
  118. well as excellent skillful fights. It's much better than the first UFC in
  119. Belgium.
  120. Also on the tape is a TV show devoted to Vale Tudo fights. $A
  121.
  122. EUROPEAN UFC #2 #1350
  123. Two hours at (****1/2) quality
  124. This was taped on 4/21/96 in Emmen, Netherlands and has English commentary.
  125. 1. Rick Anderson (Sambo) vs. Sean McCully (Muay Thai)
  126. 2. Eduado Rocha (Jiu Jitsu) vs. Alexander Zalluski (Wrestling)
  127. 3. Willie Peeters (Free Fighting) vs. Allen Harris (Newaza)

  130. RINGS 8/24/96 #1351
  131. Ninety Minutes at (*****) quality
  132. 1, Willie Peters ( 18:31 Neck Lock ) Wataru Sakata
  133. 2, Masayuki Naruse ( 11:51 DQ ) Egan Inoue
  134. ( by striking on Naruse's face)
  135. 3, Kiyoshi Tamura ( 10:58 Cross Arm Bar ) Maurice Smith
  136. 4, Mitsuya Nagai ( 6:16 Heel Hook ) Dick Vrij
  137. 5, Walter Schnerbelt ( 5 Rs Unanimous Decision ) Vladimir Krementiev
  138. (Full Contact Karate match)
  139. 6, Volk Han ( 13:52 Cross Arm Bar ) Tsuyoshi Kosaka
  140. (#7 & #8 are under Vale Tudo rules)
  141. 7, Adilson Lima ( 20:00 & Ex. 4:52 Cross Arm Bar ) Ilioukhine Mikhail
  142. 8, Ricardo Morais ( 0:46 KO ) Yoshihisa Yamamoto (* by striking)
  143. Morais, of course, is a Brasilian Jiu Jitsu stylist who trains under Renzo
  144. Gracie and won the second Russian Absolute Tournament by defeating Ilioukhine
  145. Mikhail in the finals. There is still take of Renzo entering RINGS. Morais
  146. is a huge man who has recorded several Vale Tudo wins in Brasil and should
  147. blossum into an awesome "limited rules" fighter.
  148. I'm not a big RINGS fan but this was, by far, the best show they've ever done
  149. with only 2 matches being worked.
  150. Price. A
  151.
  152. HOOKnSHOOT 8/31/96 #1352
  153. Two hours at (****1/2) quality
  154. 1. Eric Shellenhargri (Detroit, MI) and Tim Petersime (Bloomington, IN) went
  155. to a draw.
  156. 2. Eric Klueg (Evansville, IN) defeated Jeff Osborne (Evansville, IN) with a
  157. triangle choke. Neither of us wanted to do this match because we train
  158. together and both of us somewhat held back. I ended up tapping when my teeth
  159. started chipping. A loss of pride is better than losing your teeth.
  160. 3. Phil Stroffolino (Pittsburgh, PA) defeated Cade Swallows (Evansville, IN)
  161. with an improvised move similar to a reverse triangle choke.
  162. 4. Jay Oppenheim (Pittsburgh, PA) defeated Russ Paxon (Evansville, IN) in
  163. clearly the best match of the night. Oppenheim weighed in at roughly 120lbs
  164. and was arguably the best fighter on the show. This was a seasaw match than
  165. ended in the last :20 seconds with Oppenheim scoring an armbar submission.
  166. 5. Ian Haynes (Bloomington, IN) over Tony Crawley (Evansville, IN) with a
  167. lapel choke.
  168. Next were the submission fighting matches:
  169. 6. Sean Brockmole (Evansville, IN) went to a draw with Butch Smith (Byron,
  170. GA). The crowd was definitely into the stand-up fighting part of the matches
  171. but neither were able to score a win.
  172. BEGIN THE 4 MAN HEAVYWEIGHT PANKRATION TOURNAMENT.
  173. 7. Austin Long (Atlanta, GA) defeated Nick Tesla (Dallas, TX) via decision
  174. after a grueling 22 minute war with 4 overtime periods. Both men were
  175. noticeably beaten but I honestly couldn't pick a winner.
  176. 8. Mark Nelson (Atlanta, GA) defeated Mike Kennedy (Tracy, CA) with a
  177. guillotine choke. Kennedy was in control for most of the match but made a
  178. mistake in which Nelson capitalized on.
  179. BACK TO NONTOURNAMENT MATCHES:
  180. 9. Phil Stroffolino drew with Gary Griffith (Detroit, MI) in another
  181. grueling match. Stroffolino had a brutal heel hook applied but Griffith
  182. refused to tap out and Stoffolino ended up injuring himself during this move.
  183. 10. Sam Shehorn (Evansville, IN) defeated J.R. Douglas (Bloomington, IN) in
  184. yet another fast paced match. Sam wins with a lapel choke.
  185. TOURNAMENT FINAL:
  186. 11. Austin Long defeats his best friend Mark Nelson to become the HnS
  187. Heavyweight Pankration Champion with an arm triangle.
  188. $C
  189. BRASIL VALE TUDO NACIONAL #1 #1353
  190. Ninety Minutes at (*****) quality

  192. variety of martial artists competing in three different tournaments. These
  193. are the complete matches. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.
