  3. ----- GENERAL TIPS -----
  4.
  5. - I see summoners as mainly ranged characters. Maybe the most important rule for me is to avoid any direct contact with enemies if possible. Keep moving.
  6.
  7. - A Jade Flask, a Stibnite Flask, Flesh and Stone, and Ghastly Eye jewels with "Minions have #% chance to Blind on Hit with Attacks" can help avoiding incoming attacks.
  8.
  9. - You can try using Decoy Totem and/or Frost Wall to control some damage directed at you.
  10.
  11. - Once you unlock it, you can craft "+1 to minimum Endurance Charges" on your rings and amulet.
  12.
  13. ----- BUFFS/DEBUFFS/SUPPORT -----
  14.
  15. - Raise Spectre + Meat Shield Support, for example:
  16. -- Diabolist (The Upper Prison, Act 1) casts Enfeeble, doesn't "extend" your curse limit,
  17. -- Undying Evangelist (The Sceptre of God, Act 3) casts Proximity Shield,
  18. -- Wailing Widow (The Cathedral Rooftop, Act 5), applies Temporal Chains on hit, doesn't "extend" your curse limit.
  19.
  20. - Raise Zombie + Meat Shield Support, works well with the Bone Barrier ascendancy skill.
  21.
  22. - Curses. You can apply only one by default. This limit can be increased in a few ways, including the Whispers of Doom passive skill. In general, a hand-casted curse is absolutely fine, but quite often they're more efficient in specific configurations, for example:
  23. --- Enfeeble/Temporal Chains + Blasphemy Support,
  24. --- Enfeeble/Temporal Chains + Curse on Hit Support + additional hitting skill; it can be a spell dealing damage of an elemental type that your minions DON'T deal in order to apply the Elemental Equilibrium debuff at the same time.
  25.
  26. - If you pick the Golem Commander passive skill, then
  27. -- Chaos Golem grants 8% phys. damage reduction at lvl 22,
  28. -- Stone Golem grants 197 life regeneration per second at lvl 22.
  29.
  30. ----- SOLUTIONS FOCUSED ON BLOCK -----
  31.
  32. - If you don't use Endurance Charges, you can use Ahn's Heritage (unique shield), then optionally use 2 x Fragility (unique jewel) for permanent Onslaught.
  33.
  34. - If you pick Mistress of Sacrifice, you can use Bone Offering.
  35.
  36. - You can use Rumi's Concotion (unique flask).
  37.
  38. - If you stack up enough block chance, a rare Shaper shield with "Recover #% of your maximum Life when you Block" or "Recover #% of your maximum Energy Shield when you Block" may be worth trying out.
  39.
  40. ----- SOLUTIONS FOCUSED ON THE HYBRID LIFE/ES POOL -----
  41.
  42. - If you pick Mistress of Sacrifice, you can use Spirit Offering. In that case, a balance around 4k life & 4k energy shield in the end game seems reasonable.
  43.
  44. - If you don't rely on energy shield regeneration or energy shield leech, you can pick the Wicked Ward passive skill.
  45.
  46. - You can use The Devouring Diadem and pick Mind over Matter.
  47.
  48. ----- SOLUTIONS FOCUSED ON DODGE -----
  49.
  50. - If you play a life based character and use Necromantic Aegis, you probably may as well travel further to Acrobatics and Phase Acrobatics. It likely will cost you some damage nodes if you want to keep about the same life pool. On the way there are some life nodes and a jewel socket though. It should also solve any dexterity issues you could have.
  51.
  52. - You can use Vaal Grace.
