  7. [OUTPUT: Loading...]
  8. [OUTPUT: Game loaded successfully. Please enter command.]
  9. >Examine suroundings.
  10. [OUTPUT: You've just entered a room through the secondary plague lab. You are staring a horrific abomination in the face.]
  11. >Oh, okay, ACONITE HORROR it is.
  12. >Who's with us?
  13. [OUTPUT: Cyan and Charoite.]
  14. [OUTPUT: Do you wish to engage in combat?]
  15. >Yes.
  16. **ASSAULT / UTILIZE / COALESCE / OBSERVE**
  17. >Observe.
  18. [OUTPUT: Aconite Horror: 13/13 HP.
  19. NOTES: A twisted beast, resembling some sort of dark-feathered bear. An artificial osmium crystal is embedded in its left front paw. Of course, aconite was designed upon extraction to temporarily overwrite parts of AI data concerning conscious actions and pain. Incorrect usage of such a thing might make such data corruption permanent.]
  20. >Hm, have charoite use falscyint. Make sure to hold the horror in place using industrial-strength water hands.
  21. >Have Cyan aim to blow off the paw.
  22. [OUTPUT: You attempt to restrain the Aconite Horror with industrial-strength water hands. The Horror kicks a pebble in your face as you do so, breaking your concentration.]
  23. [OUTPUT: Charoite, however, burns a hole directly through the Horror with a blast of burgundy light emitted from Falyscint.]
  24. [OUTPUT: Cyan shoots it in the osmium crystal. The thing seems to absorb most of it, though the energy is deflected throughout the Horror's body.]
  25. **ENEMY TURN.**
  26. [OUTPUT: The bear swings a paw, and stabs you straight through the left forearm with the embedded osmium crystal.]
  27. [OUTPUT: It is... surprisingly, not as painful as you thought it would be.]
  28. **YOUR TURN.**
  29. **ASSAULT / UTILIZE / COALESCE / OBSERVE**
  30. >Observe.
  31. [OUTPUT: Azure Lapis: 12/15 HP.
  32. Cyan Amaranthine: 10/10 HP.
  33. Charoite: 12/12 HP.
  34. Aconite Horror: 6/13 HP.
  36. >Have Cyan do a plasmaball combo using her weapons to make a more volatile projectile and fire volleys of water at the beast beforehand so the electricity spreads across its entire body. Don't aim for the gem, aim for its physical form (the gem seemed to absorb electricity last time). Have charoite use Falscyint again?
  37. [OUTPUT: You perform a deadly combination attack. Of course, due to miscommunications, the beast dodges most of it with ungodly speed. It is directly before you now.]
  38. **ENEMY TURN.**
  39. [OUTPUT: The Horror proceeds to tear slashes into the bodies of Charoite and Cyan, avoiding you entirely. Similarly, you, the players, are not too sure that you even know what these dice do.]
  40. **YOUR TURN.**
  41. **ASSAULT / UTILIZE / COALESCE / OBSERVE**
  42. >Observe.
  43. [OUTPUT: Azure Lapis: 12/15 HP.
  44. Cyan Amaranthine: 5/10 HP.
  45. Charoite: 10/12 HP.
  46. Aconite Horror: 1/13 HP.
  48. >First, soak it with water. Then, create a fist from water and crush it. Charoite fires a beam if it somehow survives. Same with Cyan, will also attacks if it survives.
  49. [OUTPUT: It's dead.]
  50. [OUTPUT: The Aconite Horror explodes into dust. The osmium crystal drops to the ground. You note it appears to have grown over a maxixe gemstone.]
  51. [OUTPUT: The lack of the bulk of the horror reveals a large metal door before you.]
  52. >Apporach. But first, examine area for anything else.
  53. [OUTPUT: The room is entirely devoid of anything other than ash and stone.]
  54. >Head through door.
  55. [OUTPUT: Cyan bubbles the gem, and sends it to the ship. You open the door.]
  56. [OUTPUT: Beyond the door appears to be a large system of metallic catwalks overlooking a mass of the same tubes being transported throughout the facility, nearly half a kilometer below. The door closes behind you.]
  57. >Examine area.
  58. [OUTPUT: There is a DOOR on the other side of the room. It appears to be locked, and lacks a handle, either way. Just a dull, unlit hand sigil.]
  59. >...Experimentally touch it.
  60. [OUTPUT: You touch it.]
  61. [OUTPUT: Nothing occurs. Well, there is a single beeping noise that coincides with your touching it, far below you.]
  62. >Huh.
  63. >Go down and look for source while Charoite repeatedly touches it.
  64. [OUTPUT: Charoite touches it periodically, and the beeping sound occurs each time. You look down.]
  65. [OUTPUT: Do you fly down, yourself?]
  66. >Yes?
  67. [OUTPUT: You fly down yourself.]
  68. [OUTPUT: You are promptly slammed into in midair by a massive tenebrite droid of some sort. It uses you to propel itself to a wall, which it then uses to ascend to the catwalks. You catch yourself in midair, noting the beeping is coming from it.]
  69. >rip
  70. >cut off its limbs
  71. [OUTPUT: You attempt to cut off the limbs of the droid as it lands upon the catwalks, behind Cyan and Charoite.]
  72. [OUTPUT: Scythe blades composed of pure hard-light emit themselves from the arm-analogues of the droid, and it promptly stabs you through the right arm. You don't feel it too much.]
  73. [OUTPUT: Six clicks are emitted from the back of the droid, and six objects lift themselves off of its back soon after.]
  74. [OUTPUT: Do you wish to engage in combat?]
  75. >yeah
  76. **ASSAULT / UTILIZE / COALESCE / OBSERVE**
  77. >Observe.
  78. [OUTPUT: Azure Lapis: 13/15 HP. Bleeding profusely from right arm.
  79. Cyan Amaranthine: 10/10 HP.
  80. Charoite: 12/12 HP.
  81. The Reaver: 25/25 HP.
  82. NOTES: An imposing drone composed of pure tenebrite, coated entirely in ash. A single red light on the thing’s head constitutes an optical device, whilst the acrobatic robot’s arms have been topped by hard-light scythe blades. The thing appears to have glass tubes filled with human and animal blood pumping beneath its plating.
  83. Monoliscus: 5/5 HP x6.
  84. NOTES: A levitating half of a cylinder with another half grafted to it from the medial demarcation upward. Composed of a refined basalt and glass. Monoliscus drones are armed with miniature plasma cannons. The prime servants of the laboratories would naturally be small prototypes at Aft’mathai’s own attempts at artificial intelligence.]
  85. >Azure get back up and cyan, chug a refined aconite, why not.
  86. [OUTPUT: You and Cyan do more drugs.]
  87. [OUTPUT: Charoite just sort of watches.]
  88. [OUTPUT: You both black out.]
  89. [OUTPUT: When you both come to, Charoite is shaking the both of you. You are lying in a pool of the sacrificial blood coursing through the artificial pumping systems of the Reaver. All of the Monoliscus drones are dead. You both somehow feel stronger.]
  90. **ASSAULT / UTILIZE / COALESCE / OBSERVE**
  91. >observe.
  92. [OUTPUT: Azure Lapis: 15/17 HP.
  93. Cyan Amaranthine: 11/11 HP.
  94. Charoite: 12/12 HP. Disappointed in you.
  95. The Reaver: 3/25 HP.
  96. NOTES: An imposing drone composed of pure tenebrite, coated entirely in ash. A single red light on the thing’s head constitutes an optical device, whilst the acrobatic robot’s arms have been topped by hard-light scythe blades. The thing appears to have glass tubes filled with human and animal blood pumping beneath its plating.]
  97. >Obliterate the reaver with a combined water/electric punch.
  98. [OUTPUT: You attempt to obliterate the Reaver. It backflips over your electrokinetically augmented water punch twice, and proceeds to slash both of you with its twin blades.]
  99. **ENEMY TURN.**
  100. [OUTPUT: The Reaver leaps through the air, and impales Charoite through the chest. She lets out a murmured and breathless 'fuck,' before pushing herself off of the blades desperately. She's alive still, an act surprising of somebody who has taken no drugs.]
  101. **YOUR TURN.**
  102. **ASSAULT / UTILIZE / COALESCE / OBSERVE**
  103. >observe
  104. [OUTPUT: Azure Lapis: 11/17 HP.
  105. Cyan Amaranthine: 9/11 HP.
  106. Charoite: 6/12 HP. Disappointed in you.
  107. The Reaver: 3/25 HP.
  109. >does charoite have a medkit?
  110. [OUTPUT: The only person in your party with medkits is presently Topaz. Apparently.]
  111. [ http://pastebin.com/sXngWA1X ]
  112. [OUTPUT: It was actually Fseftr who gave all of the people six or so medkits, and *you* whom failed to distribute hers when the going got tough.]
  113. >take out its optical sensor.
  114. >duopen.
  115. [OUTPUT: You shoot the Reaver in the optical sensor with the Duopen. It fails to die, but the sensor is presumably deactivated.]
  116. **ENEMY TURN.**
  117. [OUTPUT: The droid leaps at you, aiming to decapitate you instantly. You take a step backwards, and it misses you by *millimeters*.]
  118. **YOUR TURN.**
  119. **ASSAULT / UTILIZE / COALESCE / OBSERVE**
  120. >observe
  121. >use falscyint to tear a hole right through the droid's center.
  122. [OUTPUT: Azure Lapis: 11/17 HP.
  123. Cyan Amaranthine: 9/11 HP.
  124. Charoite: 6/12 HP. Disappointed in you.
  125. The Reaver: 1/25 HP.
  127. [OUTPUT: The Reaver is dead. You have a feeling this should have been a lot more of an elaborate and badass fight. The exit door unlocks itself.]
  128. >Exit.
  129. [OUTPUT: You exit. As you do so, you nearly topple off of the edge of a steep drop into an abyss, for there is no floor in the room beyond the unsealed door.]
  130. [OUTPUT: A bridge of hard-light flickers on, leading to the other end, some distance away.]
  131. >Examine area, while slowly crossing bridge.
  132. [OUTPUT: You examine the area whilst walking across the narrow bridge devoid of safety.]
  133. >go back
  134. [OUTPUT: You head back. You appear to be in a cavern, the earth below nonexistent. In its place, there are *rivers* of blood. Ashen stalactites drip their cursed payload down into the depths.]
  135. >cross slowly, while keeping an eye on footing and stalactites
  136. [OUTPUT: You successfully cross the bridge without incident, and enter another set of labs.]
  137. [OUTPUT: Tubes of blood in the tenebrite-plated walls transport the crimson fluid all about the chamber of your current presence. There are various locked computer terminals embedded in the walls.]
  138. [OUTPUT: You can hear the sounds of screams, several of which are occasionally and abruptly silenced.]
  139. >...hm.
  140. >see what the terminals say?
  141. [OUTPUT: There is currently one active and online terminal. The screen itself is incoherent static. However, there is a scrap of paper on the inbuilt desk before it.]
  142. >Continue onwards. No time to waste.
  143. [OUTPUT: You head onwards. Charoite pockets the paper, just in case.]
  144. [OUTPUT: There is a door with a hand symbol at the end of the chamber.]
  145. >place hand on it.
  146. [OUTPUT: The door opens.]
  147. >see what you can see *before* walking through.
  148. [OUTPUT: You look inwards before entering. Beyond lies a travesty of a scene. Dozens of screaming and agonized figures composed of blurring pure white light centered around what appears to be sea glass are being twisted and manipulated around, *plugged into* computer terminals lacking keyboards, the screens of which are showing coordinates, video footage of security cameras, and information in the same incoherent text as the other terminals across the rivers of blood showed, which you can confirm to be the same alphabet as the one on the slip of paper.]
  149. >...what the hell is going on here.
  150. >aft'mathai really deserves his name, huh.
  151. [OUTPUT: As you watch, you see one of the figures destabilize into pure light, and drop to the ground as a dull sea glass gem, burnt out, potential millions of years of life annihilated.]
  152. >Go forth.
  153. [OUTPUT: You enter the room. Now what?]
  154. [OUTPUT: Another gem is burnt out as you stand there.]
  155. >Further examine. Bubble/collect any gems.
  156. >If we can free them, do it.
  157. [OUTPUT: You take a step forward, in an attempt to rescue the gems. As you do so, the floor lights up beneath you. A hexagonal plate of magetear-infused glass in the center of the room, just beneath a metal industrial staircase, shows a pit below the room, through which the rivers of blood below flow. However, there are also a number of tenebrite droids below, shoveling shards of sea glass into a heap vast enough to actually divert the rivers proper.]
  158. >...
  159. >uhh
  160. >genocide, much?
  161. [*This guy sure likes his aesthetic.*]
  162. >"man it sure is inconvenient that we can't send bubbles to other people"
  163. >"so inconvenient"
  164. >anyways how clustered are the droids
  165. [OUTPUT: The droids beneath the impenetrable glass are at least fifty in number. You note that all of these shards appear to be in the same burnt-out state that the overused ones here are all rapidly dropping into.]
  166. >hm
  167. >Inspect terminals.
  168. [OUTPUT: The droids are in three massive groups, which appear to be socializing areas for the things, as they shovel corpses. Each group has at least fifteen drones.]
  169. [OUTPUT: As for the terminals, they display security footage, coordinates, enciphered data, and other charts and tables. This appears to be one of the main power stations of the facility.]
  170. >i see
  171. >uh, is there any other way to go
  172. [OUTPUT: At the top of the aforementioned metal industrial staircase, there is an unlocked door with a hand sigil.]
  173. [OUTPUT: There are only six remaining gems plugged into the terminals, as well. The others have all been entirely drained.]
  174. >go touch that instead, i guess
  175. >maybe see if you can safely extract the gems
  176. [OUTPUT: There are various wires and apparatus attached around a corotite ring encircling the gems proper. They... actually appear pretty detachable.]
  177. >...
  178. >attempt it with a dead gem first?
  179. [OUTPUT: You pull at one of the devices attached to a burnt out gem. It clicks, and releases the gem. A transmission plays from hidden speakers.]
  180. >oh boy
  181. >ha
  182. [OUTPUT: "*Wелцоме то тхе фацилиты, Усер сол1дусазур1те. И до хопе ыоу енйоы оур цлеан анд неw енергы програм.*"]
  183. >o h w h y
  184. >...Disgusting.
  185. >oh wow
  186. [OUTPUT: Do you attempt to free any of the still living gems, whose number has dropped to five?]
  187. >yes.
  188. >Vive la revolution.
  189. [OUTPUT: You only manage to successfully free three of them. The other two fizzle out whilst you pull the others to safety.]
  190. [OUTPUT: Their forms do not revert to something resembling an actual person.]
  191. >rip
  192. [OUTPUT: Instead, the light in their gem dulls *somewhat*, though not wholly, and their forms grow almost transparent.]
  193. >you know i never quite understood why the matrix was supposed to work
  194. >it still doesn't quite make sense with gems
  195. [OUTPUT: The gems crackle with as-of-yet unreleased energy. They appear horrifically agonized.]
  196. [OUTPUT: What do you do?]
  197. >...
  198. >walk a large distance away
  199. >up the stairs go to the door
  200. >slap your hand right on it
  201. [OUTPUT: You do so. The door opens, revealing another catwalk. The living gems' forms are fizzling with static, and firing out sudden bursts of energy. Do you leave?]
  202. >YES
  203. [OUTPUT: You exit the room. The door shuts behind all of you on the catwalk.]
  204. [OUTPUT: Another transmission plays with a voice some of you might recognize, this time from speakers in *this* room.]
  206. [OUTPUT: What do you do?]
  207. >Inspect room.
  208. [OUTPUT: You examine the room. Charoite sharply intakes breath, and Cyan grasps your hand. The absolutely *massive* room beneath the catwalks appears to be the ending point of the rivers of blood, a lake of the stuff below you all.]
  209. >wow
  210. [OUTPUT: Off the catwalk, levitating tenebrite drones are constructing something you can't *quite* make out.]
  211. [OUTPUT: You go closer.]
  212. [OUTPUT: ...]
  213. [OUTPUT: The drones are constructing TITANS of pure solidified organic blood. TITANS, of the same kin as the one XERITA XILN was meditating upon.]
  214. >...huh
  215. >let's keep moving, not much we can do about it
  216. [OUTPUT: You continue.]
  217. [OUTPUT: A stream of blood levitates into the air from below, and coalesces on the catwalk.]
  218. [OUTPUT: You are accosted by a BLOOD ECHO.]
  219. **ASSAULT / UTILIZE / COALESCE / OBSERVE**
  220. >OBSERVE.
  221. [OUTPUT: Azure Lapis: 17/17 HP.
  222. Cyan Amaranthine: 11/11 HP.
  223. Charoite: 12/12 HP.
  224. Blood Echo: *10*/10 HP.
  225. NOTES: A whirling miniature storm composed of what appears to be pure blood. A peculiar glowing light seems to persist in the center of the whirlwind, everlasting, and sentient. Boiling blood, ever roiling, an eternal storm, forever cloying.]
  226. >have cyan fire an electric pulse directly at the glowing light with the intent to knock it out of the storm.
  227. >try to control the blood
  228. >then have azure pck up the light with a water hand and crush it repeatedly.
  229. >controlling the blood would probably be so shitty
  230. >and push it away
  231. [OUTPUT: Your hands are absorbed into the storm of blood.]
  232. [OUTPUT: THE ECHO GROWS.]
  233. [OUTPUT: Cyan fires a burst into it, however, which boils a bit of it into gas.]
  234. [OUTPUT: And Charoite?]
  235. >uh, charoite might as well just fire another burst
  236. >idk
  237. [OUTPUT: Charoite fires another bolt into it, as well.]
  238. **ENEMY TURN.**
  239. [OUTPUT: Anyhow, the echo ejects a bolt of blood at you. You have a second to act.]
  240. >DODGE
  241. [OUTPUT: Where?]
  242. >up
  243. >jump up with the intent to fly??
  244. >and then fly
  245. [OUTPUT: You fly above the bolt successfully.]
  246. **YOUR TURN.**
  247. **ASSAULT / UTILIZE / COALESCE / OBSERVE**
  248. >observe
  249. [OUTPUT: Azure Lapis: 17/17 HP.
  250. Cyan Amaranthine: 11/11 HP.
  251. Charoite: 12/12 HP.
  252. Blood Echo: *10*/13 HP.
  253. NOTES: A whirling miniature storm composed of what appears to be pure blood. A peculiar glowing light seems to persist in the center of the whirlwind, everlasting, and sentient. Boiling blood, ever roiling, an eternal storm, forever cloying.]
  254. >...it did NOT have 13 HP before.
  255. >new rule: don't use water attacks.
  256. [OUTPUT: THE ECHO GROWS.]
  257. >try to slice through the blood echo using the autumnal hand. then azure backs away and cyan tries to turn more of it into gas?
  258. [OUTPUT: Charoite?]
  259. >charoite uses falscyint.
  260. [OUTPUT: Cyan and Charoite boil away more of the BLOOD ECHO.]
  261. [OUTPUT: You... you raise the AUTUMNAL HAND.]
  262. >something is telling me tHAT THIS IS A BAD IDEA
  263. >***UNDO***
  264. [OUTPUT: Too late.]
  265. [OUTPUT: Complete this phrase. / ; : _.]
  266. >*
  267. [OUTPUT: Asterisk?]
  268. >Yeah, asterisk.
  269. [OUTPUT: / ; : *.]
  270. >yeah boiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii
  271. [OUTPUT: You slash through the BLOOD ECHO with the SCYTHE OF ИММЕ-ДРАХИС. The ECHO wails, having seen the true face of ЕРТТ ЕQ Ц////////////////////**////////////
  272. [OUTPUT: ...]
  273. [OUTPUT: ...]
  274. [OUTPUT: The BLOOD ECHO is dead.]
  275. >***__YES__***
  276. >we did it reddit
  277. [OUTPUT: The door on the far end of the catwalk opens.]
  278. >victory dance, a la suitor of the sodajerk's confidante.
  279. [OUTPUT: You do that, sure. Or something.]
  280. >ha
  281. >move on
  282. [OUTPUT: You move on, to the next chamber.]
  283. [OUTPUT: The next chamber holds nothing but a series of holopanel screens floating before the door, a metal plate platform upon which a sea glass gem, of the same type you saw in the crate outside Upsilon's temple, floats.]
  284. >examine holopanel screens.
  285. [OUTPUT: The holopanel screens all display images of the schematics for some sort of octahedron, the text for which appears unfinished, and what appears to be the architecture of the AEON CORE of the Delta Sector.]
  286. >The AEON CORE?
  287. [OUTPUT: You should probably also note the pit around the metal platform is filled with blood. Flashes of light are coming from the cracks in the metal panel door.]
  288. [OUTPUT: That is, the hand sigil-marked one across from you. Also, yes.]
  289. [OUTPUT: The AEON CORE you located the AUTUMNAL HAND in, which also held eight SHARD-pedestals, and an eight VOID SHARD-hashed door.]
  290. >we have six, yes?
  291. [OUTPUT: Yes.]
  292. >step up to sea glass, examine it closely.
  293. [OUTPUT: Bastille Stone: A circular cut stone of sea glass. The blank slate to basic AI programming technology and experimentation conducted by the ashen one, bastille stones are incapable of projecting physical forms, but can otherwise function as an entirely normal gem otherwise would, through various applications of interface and frequency scanning technology. One can even steal the data from another gem, and place it on this one, provided you have a SURROGATE.]
  294. >asf;GFSLGFaslgkfgaslflgaslfasgfasolgfspAGSOGFUlsgfaUFSGUOISFAGISAGOFIGISAFGFISO
  295. >***Nope.***
  296. >should we bubble it?
  297. >uhh
  298. >do we have a surrogate, by chance
  299. >that phrase
  300. [OUTPUT: You have none of the five Surrogates currently in existence.]
  301. [OUTPUT: The flashing from beneath the cracks of the door grows more sporadic, and maddened.]
  302. >go to hand sigil door.
  303. >open it.
  304. [OUTPUT: You open the door. Beyond is darkness.]
  305. >I'm hesitant to bubble the bastille--
  306. >...
  307. >shit.
  308. [OUTPUT: The entrance door shuts abruptly.]
  309. >SHIT.
  310. >are we locked into this dark room?
  311. >or just the room with the bastille stone.
  312. [OUTPUT: No. You are locked in the bastille stone room, with nowhere to go but into the darkness.]
  313. >thoughts on bubbling a 'gem' that doesn't have a physical form but functions completely like a normal gem otherwise?
  314. [*I should probably note there is zero data on that gem.*]
  315. >...MOVE INTO DARK ROOM
  316. [OUTPUT: Do you take the bastille stone, bubble it, or leave it, beforehand?]
  317. >see if we can put data on it.
  318. >In a way that won't rip us out of our forms, preferably.
  319. [*You don't have an army-slaying godkiller, do you, kid?*]
  320. [*And I don't mean the non-octahedral ones.*]
  321. >forget it; bubble it and move on.
  322. >Are there any terminals here?
  323. [OUTPUT: You enter the dark chamber.]

Naturally, since she’s in control of the water, the aim and precision is off the charts. You need entirely new charts to chart how precise this is. You could not get this more precise from Deadshot and the White Death themselves. In the same motion as this, Azure also attempts to hack the scythe at the arm joint that carries the dark axe, because you know, *you can’t swing what you’re not holding* and you don’t have telekinesis do you, boo hoo, yes I know you can read this, clearly that’s why I’m saying this right now and distracting you from the dodge you bag of idiot how the fuck did you even get this far anyways.
