  1. Name: Parchment
  2.
  3. Age: Unspecified, physically around 17 or so.
  4.
  5. Sex: Male in appearance, though he lacks primary sexual characteristics.
  6.
  7. Appearance: http://safebooru.org//images/783/db4a6cf4e3dbaf3155d452fac937e6c2315c772d.jpg?788332 "It's only natural, isn't it? To want to live in the world of my dreams..." Don't worry, he doesn't actually have a rose stuck in him, though the hole does exist. When actually clothed, he tends to stick with a worn white t-shirt and a pair of loose jeans. There is a ring of copperplate letters around his left wrist.

  10. Power/Tech:
  11.
  12. Homunculus/Human Doll: As a soulless shell created by an alchemist's art, Parchment is completely hollow on the inside. He lacks any internal organs, and his 'body' is made of magically enhanced clay, though it feels more like porcelain to the touch. Joints are obvious on his limbs and neck, and though his eyes are remarkably lifelike, they have a distinctly vacant quality to them that further marks him as abnormal. Otherwise, he is capable of imitating a human almost perfectly, save several little tics that he has failed to get rid of. He needs no sustenance or air to live, being completely sustained by magic and thus unaging.
  13.
  14. There are two large cracks in his abdomen, one in his right breast and the other slightly above his navel, to the left. Though they cause no discomfort to him, he is aware of them as weak spots, and guards them accordingly.
  15.
  16. Inhuman Durability/Regeneration: Despite being made of clay, Parchment's body is remarkably durable, a result of the enchantment woven through it by his creator. He can withstand bullets and even grenades without a scratch, and though he is only slightly stronger than your average human, he is incapable of fatigue. Even when damaged, he can reassimilate the fractured clay into his shell, repairing himself. This takes a considerable amount of time, however, and he cannot produce any more clay than what is already in his body; the cause of the two holes. Complete disintegration or shattering will kill him, though. He is also immensely vulnerable to attacks that can disrupt the alchemy holding him together, i.e. anti-magic and the like.
  17.
  18. Paper Mastery (stolen wholesale from Yomiko Readman of Read or Die): Interestingly enough, Parchment's other ability is non-magical. Because of his near-perfect simulation of a human brain, he is capable of achieving his creator's goal - that of establishing an extrasensory relationship with inorganic objects. Parchment, in particular, can connect with paper in all its forms, allowing him to control it telekinetically in an astounding number of ways. Even without touching it, he can cause it to become hard enough to block bullets, stick to objects, or create an impossibly sharp blade. Though not at the level of his AU (manga) source, Yomiko Readman, who can create entire buildings and perfectly natural disguises out of paper, he still possesses an immense amount of control over it, and will only increase his talent in the future. There are two weaknesses to his ability - firstly, he cannot control soggy paper, and secondly, he cannot negate the flammability of paper. However, he makes up for these weaknesses by having a lot of paper.
  19.
  20.
  21. Personality: Though he sometimes comes off as a bit odd, Parchment is generally okay enough to be around. He is preoccupied with finding his own purpose in life, and what it means to be human - this seemingly perpetual dreaminess manifests itself as a powerful, subdued curiosity. Having recently come to Lilim, he is observing people in the hopes of discovering emotions for the first time. Being a homunculus, he has a precise, detached form of speech and fights primarily in the interests of self-preservation, though he has been developing a strange habit of protecting others lately. As expected, he is clueless about modern appliances, though interested enough in their workings. He is currently trying to find himself a name.
  22.
  23. Bio: Created by the greatest alchemist of his world, the great Doctor Celestae, Parchment was an experiment in reaching the pinnacle of alchemy, the mind beyond the human mind. Celestae aimed to connect with the material in a way that bypassed magic completely - however, all his experiments had failed beforehand, and all his trials had gone insane. With that in mind, he set about creating a perfect human, succeeding in doing so after several months of trial and error. Parchment was named, given brief instruction on his purpose and abilities while still taking form, and then finally touched up on the fine details - however, due to fatigue and a brief slip of the chisel, he accidentally broke a hole in the homunculus' abdomen. Unwilling to waste any more clay on this marred specimen, Celestae smashed a hole in his right breast in a fit of temper, before disabling his motor functions and shoving him in the depths of his basement, to start again with a new batch.
