Moment: Scrounging through the ruins of Kori-Ja to melt down her old lab's ruins, salvage as much metal and parts as possible, and the hospital- both inexplicably still standing. The cities been abandoed by everyone- and so has she, with only two exceptions named 'Ninjin and Anna', who found her wandering alone and near death.

Reasoning: The city is abandoned- but not much effort was put into rendering it non-functional yet. Buildings where scorched, but not leveled. Lives where the main target, and much of the infrastructure still stands- in particular, the underground segment of her old lab.

And well- she has recycling power. And she's desperate, all her old allies gone and her enemies close at hand. Her closest friend- stolen, ripped from her.

So she does what any responsible mad scientist does- melt everything down and make something to avenge it all with.
