Add a description of yourself on your profile and your interest.
(Someone said to me that this is important but I haven't done it yet...)

LinkedIn should have a function that enables you to do an Italian profile linked to your account. Consider at least this idea for your curriculum vitae when you want to send it to job offers with an italian description.

Comes from the University of Helsinki. Personally I hate web development but I found it at first glance very CLEAR and COOL. They give you a certification that you could insert on LinkedIn too.

-Personal advise: you have a free IELTS attempt with the Politecnico. Don't do my mistake and exploit it.
Take your time to prepare it.
Ask some advises regarding the exams at CLA.
Follow the tutorials for the Writing part at CLA.
Borrow the official IELTS book or download it.
Try to take a minimum score of 6 on all 4 parts + 6.5 as overall score and you could go and maybe work e_v_e_r_y_w_h_e_r_e


POLITECNICO:
I saw that you can't do internal transfers anymore... so:
-The IT Engineering "referente" for International students is Edgar Ernesto Sanchez Sanchez (https://www.polito.it/personale?p=ernesto.sanchez)
-Ask him which exams you could do NOW (show him your list of courses) in order to MAXIMIZE the number of CFUs you could acquire for this year.
-For example you could ask him explicitly: "Can I do Mathematical A. II (03KXULP 8CFU*) and then integrate 2CFU later somehow...?"
-Or: "Can I switch Automatic control with the one from the IT Engineering (06LSLLM 10CFU**) NOW and do that exam?"
-Or: "In the worst case scenario, what could be validated considering my actual list of courses?"
-below there's a list that you could send to him. Just remove the 1st year paragraph and some of my notes between the parenthesis... He should already be aware of the corrispondences but better to inform him. Never say never...
-Try ask the same questions to the "segreteria" (they helped a friend of mine with a course about to switch off. A different case from yours but again, never say never)

-Another thing to try is lowering your tuition fees just for the next semester:
ask to "segreteria" if you could (if yes _when_ you could) switch from a full time to a part time study plan (keep in mind that this will decrease the number of CFUs for this year from 80 -> 40. Consider this after you have an idea about the exams you could do for the last 2 exams sessions...)
