- In your pursuit of the magical arts you must start somewhere, so the professors are more than willing to show you all a helping hand.
- Abjuration:
- Level 1 Warding Spell:
- Name: Concentric Barrier
- School: Abjuration
- Form: Barrier
- Range: 1 Foot
- Duration: Concentration
- Purpose: Protection
- Concentric Barrier is a basic Barrier spell that is most commonly used for practice, although it does have some battle use. It creates a barrier in front of you that you can move with you, although it's range is very low meaning you can only reliably protect yourself. It can take an amount of damage equal to your School Casting Stat plus your Magical Training Bonus. Any excess damage is transferred to the caster.
- Level 1 Monkhood Spell:
- Name: Calm Mind Calm Body
- School: Abjuration
- Range: Personal
- Duration: Concentration
- Purpose: Enhancement
- Calm Mind Calm Body is a basic Monkhood spell that helps the caster focus themselves and enter a trance like state. While using this spell you become centered and resistant to mental influence and makes it much easier to meditate. The downside however is that it requires the caster to focus on the spell and be aware of the danger before it occurs, thus making the spell situational and best suited for practice. While using this spell you gain 1 extra dice when resisting a mental effect for as long as you focus on this effect.
- Conjuration:
- Level 1 Creation Spell
- Name: Improvised Creation
- School: Conjuration
- Range: Touch
- Duration: Concentration
- Purpose: Creation
- Improvised Creation lets you create an object from nothing, although it cant be complicated and only lasts as long as you focus on the spell. The object cannot be bigger than a large rock and non simple materials will not be duplicated.
- Level 1 Summoning Spell
- Name: Summoned Force
- School: Conjuration
- Range: 20 Feet
- Form: Humanoid
- Duration: Concentration
- Purpose: Summoning
- Summoned Force is a spell that lets you summon a very weak corporeal force that can make simple interactions with things such as pushing a button, but cannot lift or push any objects. This spell is best used as a practice spell to learn control of another being, even if it's non-intelligent.
- Dark Arts:
- Level 1 Blood Magic Spell
- Name: Blood Dart
- School: Dark Arts
- Form: Ray
- Range: 30 Feet
- Duration: Instant
- Purpose: Damage
- Element: Blood
- Blood Dart lets you use your own blood as fuel for damage. When you cast this spell you sacrifice 1 HP to stab into the target, making them begin to bleed and inflicting 1 damage.
- Level 1 Necromancy Spell
- Name: Nagging Paranoia
- School: Dark Arts
- Range: 40 Feet
- Duration: Concentration
- Purpose: Curse
- Nagging Paranoia is a Minor Curse that makes the target get a nagging feeling of being watched and that they're being targeted, but only as long as you focus on it. When used in an actual situation it can cause a target to act erratically, making it less than suited for routine use and better used as a Practice Spell.
- Divination:
- Level 1 Divine Influence Spell
- Name: Blessing
- School: Divination
- Range: Touch
- Duration: Concentration
- Purpose: Buff
- Blessing is a spell that allows you to touch a target and grant them a blessing that is discharged on their next roll as long as you maintain Focus until that moment. This allows them to add 1d6 to their roll. After being discharged you must make contact with them again to activate the spell.
- Level 1 Divining Spell
- Name: Magical Sight
- School: Divination
- Range: Personal
- Duration: Concentration
- Purpose: Divining
- Magical Sight allows one to see and better understand the magic around them, although some particularly power magic may be unable to be fully grasped by such a low level spell. While maintaining Focus on this spell you can see any magical auras around you as if they were visible.
- Evocation
- Level 1 Restoration Spell
- Name: Minor Healing
- Range: Touch
- Duration: Instant
- Purpose: Healing
- Minor Healing is the first step on your path to learning to heal. It closes any superficial wounds that would not deal hit point damage
- Level 1 Destruction Spell
- Name: Spark
- Range: 10 Feet
- Duration: Instant
- Purpose: Damage
- Element: Fire
- Spark is a simple spell that allows you to ignite any flammable object within 10 feet, although someone holding it or other exterior factors may cause it to not be ignited.
- Psionics:
- Level 1 Enchantment Spell
- Name: Calm
- Range: Touch
- Duration: Concentration
- Purpose: Mind Effecting
- Calm is a simple enchantment that allows you to calm a target who does not see you as hostile or untrustworthy, numbing their negative emotions and allowing them a moment of reprieve. At any point while this spell is active, the target is able to cancel the spell of their own accord.
- Level 1 Illusion Spell
- Name: Unwitting Odor
- Range: 10 Feet
- Duration: Concentration
- Purpose: Illusion
- Unwitting Odor allows you to create a false odor that anyone in the area can smell. Particularly strong scents are hard to replicate with this spell and as such trying to create smells strong enough to make someone recoil or another extreme reaction will not work
- Transmutation:
- Level 1 Polymorph Spell
- Name: Mend
- Range: Touch
- Duration: Instant(1 minute for full effect to finish)
- Purpose: Alteration
- Mending allows you to fix noncomplicated objects as long as the damage isnt too great, such as being able to fix something broken in half but not being able to fix something that has been split into many pieces if you do not have all the pieces
- Level 1 Mimicry Spell
- Name: Face Claim
- Range: Personal
- Duration: Concentration
- Purpose: Alteration
- Face Claim allows you to alter your face to look like any other person, although the rest of your body does not change alongside it, making this spell mostly useless apart from being used for practice.
