  1. Fluttershy shuddered, huddled in what remained of her throne room. It had been hours since she'd lost contact with her Hive Mind and the last of her guard filed out of her Hive to investigate what had happened. Deep down she already knew what had happened. Her instincts had led her to her doom. She wasn't fit to be a leader of a weather crew much less the Queen of a Hive. Her Hive, her Children, had likely been captured or scattered to the wind or...
  2.
  3. She let out a quiet sob at the very thought of the destruction of her Hive. Her Children dead because of her foolishness and her enemies lay in wait outside ready to put her on the executioner's block. She wept quietly for a time before she sensed the entryway of her throne room being forced open. A small part of her Queen instincts demanded that she raise her head and face her death with dignity she didn't really feel.
  4.
  5. “Fluttershy...” It was Twilight... it made sense. She was smart enough to do this, probably win the big prize in the end. “Fluttershy. I didn't want things to be this way...”
  6.
  7. “...none of us did...” Fluttershy whispered. Why did it have to be them? Her friends that were forced to be her enemies?
  8.
  9. “Fluttershy. Your Hive is alive.” Twilight stated, moving closer to Fluttershy. Even though both bore the same tall stature of a Queen, Fluttershy felt so tiny next to her old friend. She felt so afraid... but that flicker of hope had ignited in her heart.
  10.
  11. “My babies... my babies are alive?” Fluttershy's voice was faint.
  12.
  13. “Yes. It would be just plain wasteful to slaughter them when I have a chance to take them as my own.” Twilight stated, now meeting Fluttershy's eyes. “But I need their Queen to submit to me before I can make use of them.”
  14.
  15. Fluttershy knew what she meant. Her every instinct was screaming at her to not accept the offer and to at least strike at Twilight. But she knew that her only chance of saving her Children was to submit. She reached up and took the crown from her head. She took a moment to contemplate it.
  16.
  17. She'd had it made when she first started her own Hive. A dark crown made in the shape of intertwined branches, much like a bird's next and atop the peak was an obsidian butterfly. She had thought at the time that it was cute, but now she saw it as a gaudy reminder of her trying to be something that she wasn't.
  18.
  19. She looked up at Twilight's crown and admired it for a moment. It was a proud symbol of a true Queen, dark spires stood tall like towers and the tallest bore a ruby in the shape of Twilight's cutie mark. It made hers look like a child's toy.
  20.
  21. She let her crown drop to the floor and then she knelt before her new Queen. She waited there for a moment as the voice in the back of her head screamed at her to rise. Then she felt a warm hoof stroke her mane before it captured her chin and brought her face to meet Twilight's. She didn't have a chance to say anything before Twilight caught her lips with her own and she simply gave into the forceful kiss. They remained there for a moment before Twilight reluctantly broke the kiss.
  22.
  23. “Don't worry... I'll take care of everything, even that voice at the back of your head.” Twilight reassured, before she began to emit a green liquid from her mouth. Fluttershy didn't resist as Twilight began to wrap her form in the Cocoon forming material and began moaning as it began to work it's magic on her. It wasn't long before she was attached to the ceiling above her throne, writhing in ecstasy in her Cocoon.
  24.
  25. Twilight paused to take stock of her gains today. Fluttershy's Hive was fairly small compared to the others and had relatively few Soldier Caste Changelings. Almost no Brood Mares, she would need to bring in some of her own to ensure Fluttershy would begin producing more of her Children. She probably wouldn't want her Children being used in battle. She didn't have much choice now, but Twilight decided that she would agree to her unspoken wish. She'd instead produce Worker Caste Changelings to tend to their collective fields, so Twilight could focus on making more Soldiers.
  26.
  27. Children... Twilight shook her head for a moment. Every one of them had their own ways of dealing with their new Hives. Thinking of them as purely her Children had probably handicapped Fluttershy from the outset. She had no thirst for battle and Twilight would never ask her to serve in this capacity for practical as well as personal considerations.
  28.
  29. The Hive structure itself would be left in place to serve as a back up to her own in the event of an emergency. Her own Changelings began the process of taking control of it and connecting the Hive Minds now that Fluttershy had submitted. She stared up at Fluttershy moaning and writhing within her new Cocoon and licked her lips with no little amount of lust. She was going to give her one hell of a 'Welcoming' when she was finished.
