  4. Though as she continued her play on smart comments, she heard…voices, footsteps, a slight rustling in the bushes. But when she turned to see where the sound originated, it merely proved nothing was there.

  6. At first, she just told herself it was nothing. Just her mind playing tricks on her, the imagination of sounds making her believe there was indeed something there to pass the time with the Betrayer.

  8. When she asked the fallen Earth-Warder on if he heard sounds, whispers, and particularly movement of things he replied; “I always hear whispers, from the true masters of this world. They tell me what to do, what the future shall entail. There is never a moment when I don’t hear something, be it the movement of animals or the whispers of someone. I have simply gotten used to it, unlike you. Whelp.”

  10. It was to be expected that Neltharion would respond negatively to the question, but he said ‘always’ he heard such things. So does that mean he heard what she heard here? Or is he simply stating he hears the whispers of the Old Gods constantly?

  13. She did not know, but the sounds still crept at the back of her mind. The bushes rustled swiftly, as each leaf shifted at a constant rate to which no end was in sight.
