- Riding The Storm
- ----------------
- Andrew Defrederico - 2018 Dec 28
- Flow down river, mistakes told
- Leave them, be at home
- There once was a man
- Lonesome and cold
- Worrysome, and he done more
- Cannot hide this bothersome tried
- He fell down, looking at world around
- He sat and thought, of all things
- He was taught
- Listen and quit, he was told
- But along, one day came
- The rider on the storm
- Brought with him, the purple haze
- And a storm to last for days
- Worry, the man did
- Worry did the man
- Done was the dinner
- A feast into the closed lid
- With another in his hand
- How could it be, he wondered
- And did. The man, he pondered
- The woman, he did
- He did the woman
- And the woman did him
- Yes, it was all done
- By the rider on the storm
- Help, he cried
- The help he needed
- He lied
- And now the man,
- The rider on the storm
- Did him, and died
