  2. [2013-11-17 18:06:08] <Falconis> Our Heroine met up with Great General Peng and convinced her to hear her out, now along with her trusted retainers, she flies to Peng's mountain fortress.
  3. [2013-11-17 18:06:43] <Falconis> As both a safe haven and a formidable prison, our heroing will need to be quick on her feet and quick of tongue to get a favorable outcome here
  4. [2013-11-17 18:06:51] <Falconis> WHAT WILL OUR HEROINE DO?
  5. [2013-11-17 18:07:19] * Dinah knows she is screwed as she considers quick of tongue during the flight, patiently waiting to reach the fortress
  6. [2013-11-17 18:07:57] <Falconis> You fly on the slightly uncomfotable crobat for a hour and a half to Pengs mountain fortress. The flyers seem to be making much quicker time than they should be able to, but you can't be certain as to why that is.
  7. [2013-11-17 18:08:41] <Falconis> High, imposing walls of black stone topped by kiosks with ranged pokemon greet you as you fly out of the clouds
  8. [2013-11-17 18:08:54] * Dinah hums at the good time, vaguely wondering if they'd let her keep the Crobat after this mission
  9. [2013-11-17 18:09:45] <Falconis> The fortress itself is a squat, square building with many small holes where an arrow or a poison sting could be shot from with a tall tower in the center, topped with a multitude of faux branches for fliers to land on
  10. [2013-11-17 18:12:07] <Falconis> it is to one of these branches that you are herded to as Peng lands. She quickly dismounts and struts down the branch towards a door in the tower wall while her staraptor takes to the skies again,
  11. [2013-11-17 18:12:31] * Dinah lands as well, recalling the crobat before following Peng. Looking far too comfortable for walking into a death trap.
  12. [2013-11-17 18:12:31] <Falconis> [Peng]"Follow, and tell me again why I should be listening to you"
  13. [2013-11-17 18:13:13] <Dinah> "Because I'm not silver tongued, and your gut tells you something is fishy?"
  14. [2013-11-17 18:14:58] <Falconis> Peng turns into the tower and begins walking down a long spiral staircase that runs along the entire wall to the bottom
  15. [2013-11-17 18:16:07] <Falconis> "Perhaps. What proof do you have of your claims?"
  16. [2013-11-17 18:17:16] <Dinah> "As i've said, not much. The timing was... a little too close. A little too perfect. The fact that they failed and left my sword behind.... a little too obvious"
  17. [2013-11-17 18:18:33] <Dinah> ".... plus after you left i was kind of chewing out the Ambassador for not warning me what others would think of me" She said, lightly coughing into her fist to hide her embaressment
  18. [2013-11-17 18:18:55] <Falconis> Peng frowns [Peng]"I see. Well come along then, we will continue this discussion in a more secure area."
  19. [2013-11-17 18:19:18] <Falconis> "I'll have to speak with him as well. Where are your friends?"
  20. [2013-11-17 18:19:40] <Dinah> "As you wish General Peng. I left them behind, because it seemed best to talk to you alone.... I really hope they don't get into more trouble"
  21. [2013-11-17 18:23:42] <Falconis> Peng clicks her tongue "I wish you had brought them, it would have been good to speak with all of you here"
  22. [2013-11-17 18:26:48] <Dinah> "My apologies. We have a lot of avenues to cover and honestly.... well I'm not quite sure if they would have had the courage to travel with a great general when one has already attempted to murder my companions... and succeeded with an aid"
  23. [2013-11-17 18:33:05] <Falconis> She stops abruptly and slowly turns, laying the weight of her gaze across you. "Which general do you speak of, you must tell me more of this."
  24. [2013-11-17 18:34:32] * Dinah tilts her head quietly while staring her dead in the eyes "Bohai if I recall, and I worry for our fourth member as well."
  25. [2013-11-17 18:36:44] <Falconis> Her eyes narrow and she bites a well manicured thumb "Bohai hmm?"
  26. [2013-11-17 18:36:48] <Falconis> "Hmm"
  27. [2013-11-17 18:36:59] <Falconis> She turns again and continues down the stairs
  28. [2013-11-17 18:37:11] * Dinah follows quietly after her.
  29. [2013-11-17 18:38:20] <Falconis> She leads you down to the ground floor of the tower where many harnesses and weapons are hung up and laid about the place
  30. [2013-11-17 18:38:52] <Falconis> a nurse treats a woman who is bleeding from the hole in her face where an eye used to reside in silence
  31. [2013-11-17 18:39:23] * Dinah raises a brow quietly, but doesn't look away. She's seen worse, and only wishes the woman well for having survived it
  32. [2013-11-17 18:40:50] <Falconis> Peng turns through a heavy looking iron door and leads you down a hallway. Serious looking women in blues and greys walk, jog and run too and fro, going about their business, most of them give you strange looks as you pass.
  33. [2013-11-17 18:41:25] * Dinah follows after, rather glad once more she changed out of her cheongsam. Looking more like a soldier.
  34. [2013-11-17 18:46:18] <Falconis> You approach another sturdy looking iron bound door that appears to be your destination when the procession stops abruptly as a man in a grey and blue kimono and hakama steps out

  36. [2013-11-17 18:46:55] * Dinah raises her brow
  37. [2013-11-17 18:47:00] <Falconis> Peng squeals and pounces on him, causing both of them to tumble to the floor

  40. [2013-11-17 18:47:27] * Dinah raises a brow absently
  41. [2013-11-17 18:48:12] <Falconis> Peng raises up hurridly and the man pulls out a broken crystal hair pin and frowns at it
  42. [2013-11-17 18:48:26] <Falconis> "Well, there goes my gift"
  43. [2013-11-17 18:49:33] <Dinah> "Your husband I assume?" She says with a soft smile taking the two in.
  44. [2013-11-17 18:49:58] <Falconis> Peng groans and puts a hand on her face "I'm sorry Ryo, it's just been so long since you were back"
  45. [2013-11-17 18:50:21] <Falconis> At the sound of your voice Peng seems to remember herself and hurridly gathers the air of military about her again
  46. [2013-11-17 18:51:00] * Dinah rolls her eyes. "You don't have to put on the stiff act for me if you prefer not to, You're as much a woman as you are a General"
  47. [2013-11-17 18:51:19] <Falconis> [Peng]"Your assumption would be correct. Dinah, this is Ryo my husband, Ryo this is Dinah, a suspect in the recent attack against the Empress"

  51. [2013-11-17 18:53:52] <Falconis> Ryo inclines his head slightly in return, a bemused smirk on his face "Indeed, I was afraid I'd been replaced by a more attractive model in my absence."

  66. [2013-11-17 19:08:08] <Falconis> The room beyond is clean, sturdy. A single stone table is set in the center of the windowless room along with two simple wooden chairs

  68. [2013-11-17 19:08:48] * Dinah sits calmly in the other.

  72. [2013-11-17 19:10:24] <Falconis> "I promise you that I shall do my utmost to uncover the truth, but with your lack of true proof, you leave me no choice but to hold you here in safety until your innocence or guilt can be proven

  97. [2013-11-17 19:28:13] * Dinah smiles cheerfully, looking a lot happier as she follows Yu-mei
  98. [2013-11-17 19:32:39] <Falconis> Yu-Mei leads you down the winding halls, Sena following close behind until you reach a enourmous room with a domed ceiling with women and pokemon sparring in it

  102. [2013-11-17 19:35:54] <Falconis> In the very center of the room, a Tall blaziken, even for it's species shadow fights numerous imaginay opponents
  103. [2013-11-17 19:36:48] <Falconis> It wears a green and gold wrestlers mask over it's face, and a diamond of soft black feathers puffs on it's chest
  104. [2013-11-17 19:37:09] <Falconis> it cries out as it kicks, decimating invisible enemies in a way that makes you almost see them

  107. [2013-11-17 19:37:57] * Dinah walks over to the center area, dropping her bag and looking it over. She seems to consider it for a moment before taking her sword off and planting it in her bag, so the handle juts out if she needs to grab it but otherwise leaving the sword out of the Arena.
  108. [2013-11-17 19:38:31] * Dinah absently unzips her jacket and tosses it to the side, leaving herself in a tank top and sports bra. It is women only and she gets the feeling she'll need the mobility. "I think I will"
  109. [2013-11-17 19:40:03] <Falconis> Francisco freezes as you approach, leg paused in a 45degree kick, and rotates to face you

  319. [2013-11-17 21:52:59] <Falconis> in short order the chef returns sliding a plate of food before you. Red and green peppers intermingle to form a basket around strips of charmander meat, with large rigged pasta forming the backbone of the meal, holding the sauces together on the plate
