    x  joo ri is someone that takes a while to get to know and open up to because of her shy and awkward nature. she's that person that stays in the corner of the room during a party watching everyone and debating whether she should join or not. she's a very bright and loud type of person but needs to see what type of person someone is before showing her true self. her sense of humour is also kinda dry so when she tries to joke around while they're on air it ends up just in an awkward silence. she has very unconventional ways of doing things and can rival the weirdness of the 4d member when you get to know her. when she's with people she knows she's very loud and silly going off and doing random stuff with the active one. she can be quite indecisive and debates with herself before making decisions. she's always shouting and running around the dorm and is the one that needs to have someone keep an eye on because some crazy stuff happen when she's alone. despite being shy to strangers and awkward nature, she has an air of confidence about her and carries herself with a surety about herself. joori is extremely talented but remains pretty low key because of shyness and is one of the more underrated members in the earlier days of their debut. she values her fans a lot and her craziness shows when she's interacting with them when she's joking around with them, pulling derps and just all round having fun with them. her members are very significant people to her as they were patient with her sort of closed off/shy personality and can now openly express what she feels and thinks.

    x due to her father's job as a politician she was often told to mind her appearance and make sure that she's always on her best behaviour because it could taint her father's reputation. she was already in the spotlight when she was younger but because she was told to always take care of how she acts she couldn't really make proper friends or genuinely interact with other children. due to having no time to really take care of their child she was often taken care of by their uncle actor who had periods where he had no filming and had fun with her. other than that she was enrolled in a bunch of different extracurricular stuff but it was only dancing and music that she really liked and was good at. she was able to go on star king as a child with some other girls as mini s.e.s. and found that she could shed her awkwardness when she was performing and act like she was someone else. she auditioned for sm when she was 15 and got accepted.

	x he's goodnatured and responsible. he can be quite dominant, just like any leader, and will voice his opinion and what he feels. despite that he is open to the different opinions and will consider them. there's an aura of authority about him but also is full of humour, wit and has an easy-going persona. he's very generous with his laughs and will laugh at anything remotely funny. he takes care of those he cares about and is the type that constantly asks if a person is okay. he wants to bring out the best in people and will push them to their potential, even if it means giving the spotlight to them instead of him. can be fiercely competitive and very meticulous.

	x they had actually met before when seventeen was promoting mansae and f(x) was promoting four walls. he didn't know what it was but joori had caught his eye when he was watching her rehearse for the performance. everytime that she was in his line of view, he found his eyes following her. she seemed to have two different personalities when she interacted with people as she was often laughing at something and making jokes with the rest of the dance crew but when a staff member came from the event or some other stranger came to talk to her she would immediately quiet down and stand as if she wasn't supposed to be there. he thought that he wasn't going to ever see her again after that but was surprised to see her backstage promoting their debut song.
