Four Fates Under the Southern Sun PF, Session 21

Start: 11 am, Foreautumn 12, 401 GA

The party spoke with Larin, who described the Tel-Shanas who demanded tribute as part of a psionic cult known as 'The Unseen Eye', and implied this 'Unseen Eye' was also an individual.

Larin seemed uneasy with how lax the Duergar were, once given alcohol, and seemed to partially blame the party for this. He did not make a direct accusation, however.

Their discussion was cut short by the long drone of a horn. They went to investigate.

Awaiting them was a spider creature, known as a drider, and several Tel-Shanas attendants. The creature introduced itself as Maegwyn.

The Spider Queen decided to parley with Maegwyn, who was both surprised to see a Tel-Shanas here and even more so to parley with one.

Furthermore, the Spider Queen managed to convince Maegwyn to believe the Spider Queen has a 'limited' mind perfectly suitable to enthrall slaves. With piqued interest, she accepted the Spider Queen's bluff, giving the party as 'slaves' as her tribute.

Maegwyn took them down the ancient highway, and took the following directions to arrive at her ultimate destination. West, east, down, down, east.

The location they arrived at was, simply put, a drider's lair.

The party decided to wait long enough for them to be lowered into the first of evidently two pits to ambush Maegwyn.

Their ambush worked flawlessly, and any fires that were started in the webs were extinguished.
