The cool aunt

> Lynn hopped into her car, fresh sweat trickling down her tracksuit. She smiled as she took in a couple of harsh breaths. Nothing like a good long run to get the blood pumping.
> Her little running partner crawled into the passenger seat. Sweating worse then she was, practically melting into his seat as he gasped for air.
> “Great run, Ruffles.” Lynn affectionately rustled his sweaty hair. “Next time we’ll go for 10 miles.”
> “I think-” He gasped “-8 is enough.” Lemy managed to spit out between breaths.
> Lynn smirked as Lemy tried to find the feeling in his legs again. She didn’t get to spend a lot of time with her her sisters’ kids. Most of them didn’t want to spend time with her.
> Granted, that had a lot to do with the fact her idea of bonding was working out.
> But was she in the wrong for wanting to get these to get these kids out once and awhile? Lyra and Liby were practically sticks, Loan could stand to get some fresh air, Lupa was way overdue for some discipline and if Leni wasn’t so overprotective she could get 60 pounds off Liena in a week, easy. She didn’t baby them. Not buy them every little thing they wanted, not bake them cookies, or just do anything they wanted just to get on their good side.
> Probably why they didn’t want to be around her.
> “Earth to Aunt Lynn?” Lynn blinked and looked over to the soft voice trying to get her attention. “You alright? I think you some sweat in your eye?” Lynn quickly rubbed her eyes. Laughing it off.
> “Hehe, G-guess I worked myself a little too hard there...” Lynn looked down for a moment; her heart felt heavy. “Hey Lemy... do you like spending time with me?”
> “Of course I do.” Lemy perked up a bit, the AC did wonders getting him back to normal. “I love hanging out with you.”
> “And you don't mind all the running?”
> “Well I’m not a fan... But If it means I get to hang out with my cool aunt, I could run 10 miles.” He said with a small grin Lynn had to wipe the sweat from her eyes again.
