ANYTHING I MISSED?: even though you said not a lot of background... i’m going to put it anyway.... basically she was born in shanghai, but her family moved to seoul when she was young. she was street casted to be a child actress/model by Esteem, but ended up not getting casted for any roles for years. this took a toll on her self esteem because she was constantly rejected from the age of 8 years old. she almost quit training, but sm decided to try her one last time as an idol. she has only been training for a few months and doesn’t feel like she deserves to be there compared to the other trainees. that’s why her visuals/confidence is so low.
