  1. [12:01:40] #za: sup, am za, didn't really script this, but that's okay, we'll have fun here
  2. [12:01:51] #za: before we get started with the actual awards, I'd like to thank Cake and Sharp for doing such a great job with hosting this year... hosting is a lot of work and these 2 deserve so much praise for everything they did to keep this tournament successful
  3. [12:02:03] #za: I'd also like to thank every manager for doing such a great job this year. Every team was competitive this year because every manager did everything in their power to field a competitive team. Y'all are great!
  4. [12:02:09] #za: (special thanks to LoSconosciuto for being the coolest manager and putting up with me for 2 months)
  5. [12:02:21] #za: And of course, thanks to all of the players. Y'all kicked ass this year, so many fun games to watch and the overall atmosphere you guys created was amazing. Can't wait to see what you guys do again next year!
  6. [12:02:40] #za: Now, moving on with the more formal stuff, congrats to Team Skymin on winning this year's edition of RBTT! You guys were great throughout the entire season and deserve this so much. I can't wait to see the custom!
  7. [12:02:53] #za: We have a lot of awards to go through, but lets start with who performed best when it mattered most... the Playoffs MVP!
  8. [12:03:07] #za: which goes to none other than Zap of Team Skymin! Not only did Zap secure a 2-0 victory in each week of playoffs, but the second win was the last game of finals, securing the win for Team Skymin. Congrats again Skymins!!!
  9. [12:03:18] #za: The Best Newcomer of this year was zioziotrip of Team Deoxys, and he also takes overall MVP honors with his outstanding 8-0 record on BSS Factory! What a great showing from the newcomer!
  10. [12:03:31] #za: Taking home the silver medal for overall performance is Alpha Male Psyduck of Team Arcanine, who put on a clinic for the Gen 1 pool, and TheFranklin of Team Skymin takes the bronze for his stellar performance in Gen 5!
  11. [12:03:35] #za: Now for the format MVPs...
  12. [12:03:48] #za: Gen 8: Lady Writer of Team Rayquaza! Going 5-2 in our premier format, even after a rough 0-2 start is no easy feat, but Lady Writer made it look easy! Whoever drafted this guy must be really smart! and cool! and awesome!
  13. [12:04:02] #za: Gen 7: betathunder of Team Yveltal! Also going 5-2, this was a fantastic follow up to his similarly stellar record from RBTT IV... beta is proving himself to be a consistent winner! he bought me dinner once :]
  14. [12:04:13] #za: Gen 5: TheFranklin of Team Skymin! With an absolutely insane 8-1 record, TheFranklin once again demonstrates why he is the best of the best in this format with an absolutely dominant performance
  15. [12:04:25] #za: Gen 4: jytcampbell of Team Kyogre! Another 5-2 finisher topping this highly contested pool, jytcampbell was a consistent slot for Kyogre throughout the tour, slightly edging out O1V7O2X9O for this format MVP :O
  16. [12:04:38] #za: Gen 3: HeadsILoseTailsYouWin of Team Arcanine! With a 6-3 record, Arcanine's round 1 pick easily lived up to their draft position, leading all Gen 3 players in both wins and times rolling Dugtrio vs Magneton!
  17. [12:04:53] #za: Gen 1: Alpha Male Psyduck of Team Arcanine! Rands staff FINALLY righted their wrongs and put Gen 1 back into the tournament over Monorands, and it led to lots of fun and competitive matches, but AMP managed to comfortably top this pool with an amazing 8-1 record! What a stellar debut!
  18. [12:05:00] #za: (fr why was Gen 1 ever removed...)
  19. [12:05:07] #za: Hackmons Cup: MultiAmmiratore of Team Darkrai! Finishing with a 6-1 record in one of the most variance based formats in the tournament is no easy task, but that was no problem for Chiori, who put up one of the best records in any format for the entire tournament!
  20. [12:05:20] #za: Doubles: queso of Team Skymin! With an impressive record of 6-3, queso is starting to seem like he can perform well anywhere after posting a winning record in singles formats last year. Great job cheese55555555555!
  21. [12:05:36] #za: Battle Factory: ORAS-Mega of Team Arcanine! In a pool stacked with talented tiers players like himself, BF extraordinaire ORAS-Mega was the best of the bunch! Another player with a 6-3 record, ORAS-Mega improved upon an already good performance from RBTT IV!
  22. [12:05:49] #za: BSS Factory: zioziotrip of Team Deoxys! Putting up an absolutely absurd record of 8-0, Deoxys had an autowin every week with this formidable RBTT newcomer holding down the fort! Certainly the steal of the draft this year!!!
  23. [12:06:03] #za: I'd also like to give a shoutout to Teres Bahji of Team Deoxys, the best finishing multi-format player. He went 7-1 overall while spending time on both Gen 8 Singles and Doubles! Wow!
  24. [12:06:28] #za: That's all for the Format MVPs... next up we have Manager's Picks! These were the players that each managing pair saw as the "MVP" of their team, whether it be for their record or something else
  25. [12:06:34] #za: In no particular order...
  26. [12:06:40] #za: for Team Yveltal: PrinceOfAllTacos!
  27. [12:06:46] #za: for Team Arcanine: Alpha Male Psyduck!
  28. [12:06:53] #za: for Team Rayquaza: Lady Writer!
  29. [12:06:58] #za: for Team Deoxys: zioziotrip!

  35. [12:07:25] #za: O1V7O2X9O!
  36. [12:07:37] #za: and for our winners, Team Skymin... TheFranklin!!!
