» NICKNAME :
  ✎ mulan ( when she was a child, her favorite disney movie used to be mulan because she felt like she could relate with the character's bravery. that's why her mother and her sisters started calling her that. )
  ✎ doll ( death was the only one who knew about her love for porcelain dolls, despite her cold and tough demeanour. it started as an inside joke between them but, later on, it became the only name death would use when calling her. she pretended to hate it but, deep inside, she liked that someone had seen this different side of hers and still liked her the same. )

» BACKGROUND :
  ✎ she grew up in what seemed like "the perfect family" but, behind closed doors, her parents fought all the time and she tried not to let it get to her.
sometimes, her father even got as far as physically assaulting her mother. being the oldest sister, she had to put on a fake smile and protect her two younger sisters, even if it meant that she was getting ruined deep inside. in school, she had a close group of friends, with which she enjoyed spending time but, sometimes, she found herself wondering if she really deserved them. the constant violence that had taken over her home had managed to affect her in the end.
   her parents divorced when she was sixteen and her father immediately moved on to another woman. one time, while drunk, her mother admitted to her that he had been cheating on her for a long time. seeing the pain that her mother was going through, sihyeon decided to never speak to her father again. after a few failed attempts, he stopped contacting her as well. the last years of high school were extremely hard for her since she developed big trust issues and stayed away from all of her friends, who ended up thinking she was weird. thankfully, in college, she met death and the rest of the group and this helped her a lot mentally.

» OTHER INFORMATION :
  ✎ she started attending judo classes when she was ten. this helped a lot with her anxiety and her anger issues. it also made her very strong physically.
  ✎ even though she is a tomboy and she pretends not to like girly things in order to maintain her tough image, she loves porcelain dolls. she actually collects them, which might seem creepy to some people, but she sees it as a way to express herself and cope.
  ✎ another thing that doesn't suit her image is that she loves ballads and listens to them all the time.
  ✎ she had plans to move to australia after college but death's murder affected her intently, forcing her to stay in korea and deal with her sadness.
  ✎ she absolutely hates caffeine. when she drinks it, she has trouble sleeping and she doesn't like the taste of coffee anyways.
  ✎  she loves dogs and she adopted one while she was in college. she named her 'minjoo'.
  ✎  she loves horror movies. in fact, every friday she has horror movie marathons with her sisters and they order pizza. it's like a family tradition.
  ✎ she curses a lot. especially when she's mad or stressed, she can come up with many curse words.
  ✎ she usually wears black clothes. when she wears another color, her friends tease her about it, asking if it's a special occasion or something.

  ✎ hanged man ( since they're both the "brave and strong" ones in the group, it would make sense for them to be close. they have many common qualities. )
  ✎ high priestess ( sihyeon feels like she needs to protect her at all costs. she just seems too sweet and fragile for this world and sihyeon doesn't want anything bad happening to her. )
  ✎ fool ( since their personalities are almost polar opposites that will probably help them bond. in fact, sihyeon probably has a lot to learn from fool when it comes to faking your smile and hiding your feelings. )
