  1. [03:26] A troublesome situation. The vampires were acting up, or at least, Ipos was. That the vampires had enough power to take over Dawn, and that they should have more land, when the whole of the plains belonged to them. When they had been so generous to these, and they still dare to try to bite his hand off.
  2.
  3. The poison.
  4.
  5. It was the answer, in the end. It was what he needed; It was what Alastor wanted so much. Motivation, something that meant he needed to rush this as soon as possible, something that meant he had to have an answer ready. Luckily, he could try to foster some experiments.
  6.
  7. Vampires were vulnerable to two things; Holy magic, and fire magic. One of these had to happen in the new product of the poison. What one, however, was up for grabs. He had to think about it.
  8.
  9. Hours and hours went, drafting potions. One, where he would imbue the cask with a holy-emitting rune; But it was unstable, and nigh useless when the rune expired. Another, wherehe would have to use gusts of holy wind to spread around.
  10.
  11. Nothing came.
  12.
  13. He had to discard the idea of using holy magic in the end for this; It was too much, and without a catalyst, he couldn't do anything. And then, an idea sparked upon his head.
  14.
  15. Holy and fire. Holyfire.
  16.
  17. That was the ultimate solution for what he needed, and that was what he could have going for him. He could channel the fiery ingredients of multiple fire shards into it, and spread through the system of...
  18.
  19. ... Of what?
  20.
  21. He had to rig the city. To stop it from being taken. But he needed more, he needed something that wouldn't stop just the vampires, but something that would stop these that came with them.
  22.
  23. No, he needed something that could stop anything that dared put a foot in this place.
  24.
  25. He needed to grab one of his own metal canisters that kept the noxious fumes stored, and analyze it. Breathe it in, feel the blistersspreading through his inside, feel the smoke and the burning ache that consumed over his body in a while.
  26.
  27. He had to amplify these effects.
  28.
  29. If he could resist to them for the minutes it was still condensed in the air, any magi could. He had to do something about it. And then, Alastor slowly disassembled it, back into multiple vials. All of them disposed in a single row in front of him.
  30. (Alastor G. Vishkar)
  31. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  32.
  33. [03:50] Ten bottles. This meant he had ten attempts at going fully. Each bottle was containing, approximately in dosage, three ground up wind crystals, three ground up fire crystals, two nightshade caps and four bottles of venom.
  34.
  35. It all missed something.
  36.
  37. Something he didn't have.
  38.
  39. He had to figure out a way to put this through, something that could destroy the lives of these that would dare to stand against him. Rieka coursed through him, as his mind raced; Perhaps intensified by such, or simply startled by the thoughts going on inside his mind.
  40.
  41. Alastor knew that there were problems brewing in the city, and he couldn't avoid these any longer. He had to do something about it, he had to...
  42.
  43. He had to end them. And there was something that all living beings, even Nethradin, shared with humans. Mana. It was a primary thing, something that all people had, and something that nothing could live without. Be it human, sirenian, sarradian...
  44.
  45. ... Vampire, or Demon.
  46.
  47. And they all had one thing that overruled them. Something that, when mixed together with it, would make null any attempts at getting better. It was Rieka, something that could overrule their own circuitry.
  48.
  49. And which he just happened to be very present to.
  50.
  51. Of course, this was a general use poison; Anything could die from it, obviously. Anything should die from it, theoretically, given it was strong enough. But how to make it strong enough?
  52.
  53. He needed something to intensify the rieka and send it out better, a way of conducting it through the air, and into someone else's body. Three problems, but not all of these could be solved immediately.
  54.
  55. Instead, Alastor opted to store his own Rieka by using it to enchant a couple of water-filled bottles. After all, if water carried all of his essence, it should work. If not...
  56.
  57. He had a backup plan.
  58.
  59. A needle and a rubber band. All of that, needed for him to finally come to fruition with what he wanted. Pushing his rieka inwards, the Oscuri allowed a yell to come forth, and he finally felt it coursing through his veins.
  60.
  61. His body, ablaze with Azrael's wrath itself, unbridled and raw.
  62.
  63. Rubber band tightened around his upper arm, needle was carefully put into the center, where his own blood then started to pour out. After all, what would serve as a better conduit of Rieka than his own blood? The blood of what he thought to be the most devout Oscuri to have ever stepped in this continent.
  64.
  65. Soon enough, he had what he needed. Enough to fill five bottles. Five were enchanted with water, Rieka taken and incorporated into the element itself. Truly, he was no master of it; But he could do an incantation so low and easy.
  66.
  67. The other five, filled to the brim with his own blood. Alastor panted, pale with the lack of his own red lifefluid. A shaky Eternal allowed himself to stand up from the chair, and watch at the to-be results of his work.
  68.
  69. He was tired, unfortunately.
  70.
  71. But everything...
  72.
  73. ... It was going to be worth it.
  74.
  75. He needed to make his own Rieka become something else.
  76.
  77. He needed to make himself into Manabane.
  78. (Alastor G. Vishkar)
