"ABC is texting voters with cell phones - here is how they are doing it."

Suzanne states:

"I just received an email from a friend whose wife received an ABC texts and found out how they were doing it. My guess is that they hired a company to do this.  ...we can get our group of supporters to text their friends and family who live in Cambridge. I could create another text for people to send with CCC information."

The ABC text states, "We started with a list of voters from the public voter file, and then match that against publicly available cell phones from third-party lists."

Then they state that, "A Better Cambridge Action Fund is a volunteer political advocacy group which works to help create more housing in Cambridge -- our platform includes creating more affordable housing, increasing affordable housing funding, allowing greater density buildings near transit, and increased tenant protections.”

And the final text:

“In this election, we're supporting a slate of 9 pro-housing candidates who support creating more housing in Cambridge...". They then close with their on line information address.

Suzanne is working on a text for CCCoaltion to send out.  I'll forward it for us to use.
