DNA: 	I have some minor updating of stats to do, but that shouldn't take long. Just go ahead with your explanation; I'll be done before you are.
DNA: 	I recall us being at the entrance, not actually inside, the void pocket about 19m wide.

Avara: 	a'ight, so... i'm kinda glad i switched to a not-huge-tv type monitor (still a tv, but closer to monitor specs) for my computer now. getting a closer look at my spritework, i am... irritated. because of the level of contrast (or lack thereof, at times) in my sprites made with the 32 inch tv monitor.
	Chronicler: 	Reminder of Suffocation: So, instead of 1 minute you begin suffocating I'll make it 2 rounds + your Body attribute (minimum 2) rounds.

	Chronicler: 	Description of the Forest: The forest was one of those places which had no palpable reason to exist. It was a creaking shack created by nature to serve as a reminder that things could always be much, much worse. The unnatural, choking mist that swirled and sprawled on the forest floor was the first thing that spoke of a strange sort of wrongness. The sickly white substance oozing from the trees reminded you of the maggot-like texture of the eyes of a dead man who had been forgotten in his apartment for a few months, ready to burst at the slightest touch. The smoke made no sound however and only parted to swallow up her feet as you all marched upon the giant dead, festering eyeball of the forest floor. The sound of mushy and dead leaves whispered from under the skin of the mist.
Avara: 	unless you have sufficiently advanced range, it would still be inadvisable
DNA: 	I know. It's still inadvisable, but the option exists.
	Chronicler: 	Description of what was seen in the 'area': There is no fog or mist in this area and none of the tree's in it are its usual ghoulish colour. They're all white and not producing any ooze nor leaves. They appear brittle. The land is visible in this area and ground appears cracked and dry and there seems to be no wind current at all.
DNA: 	Finch: Saturn; Roland: Rochette and Chloe. This leaves Mario open
DNA: 	.In the area is...Inside or Outside the pocket?
Avara: 	mario was riding on valerie's... something. and it may be best to have mario reserved as such for when valerie can rejoin the group
	Chronicler: 	Inside.

	Chloe Blanchett: 	"This couldn't have happened to long ago, the dead leaves still litter the ground even though the trees aren't growing any more." Chloe shivered, "It might just be the weather though, maybe they do leaf in the summer. I'm not really sure I want to see what it looks like...

	Chloe Blanchett: 	Chloe lifted a leaf from the ground. Is there anything unusual about it? Is it wet from the ground? Does it look like it fell because it was an autumn leaf or because the tree died?"

	Chronicler: 	The first description was of the forest. The second was what was seen inside the void from last session.
	Chronicler: 	From where you stand in the forest you cannot see the floor of which you walk upon.
DNA: 	I thought you said the visibility was 2.5m?
	Chloe Blanchett: 	Chloe reaches down into the mist to find and lift a leaf that she can hear herself walk on.
Avara: 	floor could easily be just that messy
DNA: 	...fair.
Avara: 	or fog and mist concentrated more lower to the ground
	Chronicler: 	You have a field of vision of 2.5m. You cannot physically see through the mist that blankets the floor.
Avara: 	so we can't see what we will (or won't) be stepping?
DNA: 	Ah. How far would our vision extend downward? Knees? Ankles? Thighs?

@DNA. You can see down to the mist, which is at your ankles.

Avara: 	does the fog extend through the void pocket?
	Chloe Blanchett: 	Chloe lifts a wad of gleaming leaves from the floor. They stick together through a white substace. It carries a rich earthy scent, and the leaves have been well preserved.
	Chronicler: 	The fog does not enter the pocket.
	Chloe Blanchett: 	"Hm. The forest is thick with slime, but the pocket is dry of air *and* moisture..."
	Saturn Rosewell: 	Saturn looks over the white substance sticking them together. Medicine Education (4d6+2) !
	Saturn Rosewell: 	"There's probably something about the pocket keeping it out. Maybe the pocket is forcing everything else out?"
	Chloe Blanchett: 	Chloe was willing to hand over the wad of leaves, or at least hold them for Saturn. Her voice grew quieter as she looked into the pocket, "It... It almost looks nicer, more natural. I wonder, is the void pocket the forest's attempt to purify itself?"
	Rochette: 	"Lack of any sort of air would kill anything in it. Not a good job of purifying."
	Saturn Rosewell: 	"Purifying according to what, though?"
	Rochette: 	"If it were purifying itself, it would be an attempt to preserve itself. This would be more akin to suicide."
Chronicler whispers: The substance seems to place anything it coats in a pseudo-stasis. It's a highly effective naturally occuring preservative. It also appears to require incredible moisture to work effectively. It will crystalize without it.
You whisper to Kaorin Sakura: What do you mean by pseudo-stasis?
	Chloe Blanchett: 	Chloe moved so her shoulder was next to the wall of the void pocket, facing parallel to the 'line'. "Yeah... but maybe it wants to die instead of becoming all of this. A dead tree might be better than a cursed tree." Chloe continued to work as she spoke. She lifted the leaves next to the border of the pocket and slowly turned her arms so the leaves, and the white sticky goo entered the pocket's range. Chloe was absolutely sure to stand out of the way, if the goo or leaves were reflected from the circle. She watched the reaction with incredible interest. Perception
Chronicler whispers: It doesn't lock time or place anything in a separate dimension. It maintains whatever it coats in the 'age' that it is in.
	Saturn Rosewell: 	"Hmm...."
	Saturn Rosewell: 	"Looks like that stuff acts off moisture, and maintains its age."
	Chloe Blanchett: 	"Suicide? Or amputation. If it kills the curse, other forests, adjoining forests live."
	Saturn Rosewell: 	"And it crystalizes if left without moisture, I think."
	Chronicler: 	The leaves fall into the void and land on the ground with a 'slush'. The white sticky substance is pulled from the leaf and collected into a sphere. It quickly crystalizes, naturally shaping into a diamond-like shape. It glistens and shines unnaturally. The leaf itself dries up in a matter of minutes. It curls with crunching and creaking sounds.
	Saturn Rosewell: 	"It drained the moisture from it completely."
	Rochette: 	"Mm... but why shape into a diamond?"
DNA: 	Any way to tell how the moisture was drained?
	Chloe Blanchett: 	"And it's leaking from the trees... it's probably as unnatural as the void pocket, even if it isn't related. We should look up where additional void pockets are located, maybe there is a pattern to where they form." Chloe considers where she's heard about other pockets being located. General Education.
	Saturn Rosewell: 	"I think that just might be how the white stuff crystallizes normally."
	Chloe Blanchett: 	Chloe takes her arms out of the pocket and looks at them. "It drains the moisture from the substance, but not my arms. Further evidence that it may be designed to combat the forest itself..."
	Saturn Rosewell: 	"Wait...
	Saturn Rosewell: 	Really?"
	Rochette: 	"..." Rochette attempts to 'poke' the barrier between void and non-void.
	Chloe Blanchett: 	"I don't think my arms hurt, unless the nerves died *that* fast.." Chloe looks at her arms, getting worried. Do they seem fine?
	Finch: 	Finch is simply watching this all play out from atop Saturn's hat. He finds this very intriguing to watch.
	Saturn Rosewell: 	"Lemme see." Medicine Education to check Chloe's arms (4d6+2) .
	Chloe Blanchett: 	"They look fine."
	Saturn Rosewell: 	"Do they feel fine? Are they numb at all? Do your arms respond to your movements?"
	Chloe Blanchett: 	Chloe bends her arms, tries out her fingers, "Seems so."
	Chloe Blanchett: 	She switched her backpack to be worn from her front, not wanting to set it onto the ground. She dug through it and pulled out a cup and a cantine. She poured a bit of water into the cup and held it into the void pocket, watching again with keen perception.
	Rochette: 	"Feels like air's circulating, a little..." she takes a deep breath and steps fully into the void pocket. (2+3 body=5 rounds worth of time before suffocation sets in)
	Chloe Blanchett: 	Perception
	Chronicler: 	The cup trembles briefly.
	Saturn Rosewell: 	"...hey, Cottonee! Go with her."
	Chloe Blanchett: 	"I feel it to..." Chloe concentrates.
* Finch obliges the request and stays near to Rochette, heedless of danger.
	Chloe Blanchett: 	Chloe almost dropped the cup in shock, "Th-the air is flowing inward..."
	Saturn Rosewell: 	"Inward?"
	Chronicler: 	As Rochette enters the void pocket her clothes seem to flutter around some - as if struck by a constant flow of wind.
	Rochette: 	Rochette steps into the void, and attempts to feel the differences directly. To see which way her hair is blown, which side is colder or warmer, how her body might feel
	Saturn Rosewell: 	"...Mind if I try something? I want to see how fire might behave in the void pocket."
	Rochette: 	Rochette, having an idea, walks with the cottonee until they're outside of the air spread range... and then speaks. "Can you hear me?" Testing if air is sufficiently voided to nullify sound.
	Chloe Blanchett: 	Chloe took the cup out, "...strange. The water is gone as well."
	Saturn Rosewell: 	"Well, the moisture was drained from that white stuff..."

	Chloe Blanchett: 	"But not me..." Chloe pondered this. From the crease in her forehead it looked like she may be pondering a little too hard.

	Chronicler: 	As Rochette speaks, she sounds muffled (to her and Cottonee) but Saturn and Chloe can hear nothing she says.
	Rochette: 	((should i switch to full whisper mode, or continue to write normally?))
	Chronicler: 	You can continue to type normally.
	Rochette: 	"So... it's colored weird back where we left the others... I think. I sound like I'm speaking through a pillow, and the wind is going... that way." She gestures to Cottonee to follow, and starts walking against the current of wind to try to get out.
* Finch rests on Rochette's head, as apparently Cottonee lacks a Sky speed and only has Overland 4.
	Saturn Rosewell: 	"...actually, now that Rochette is walking around, I don't want to test this for fear of her being hurt..."
	Saturn Rosewell: 	She raised her voice. "Hey, Rochette! Can you hear us?"
	Saturn Rosewell: 	(Assuming that she can't, but...will wait for confirmation.)
Chronicler whispers: For Cottonee: When you reach the barrier to leave the void pocket it resists you. You can feel a slow and heavy pulse as you touch it. The texture is almost like that of a warm, wet and soft flesh. You need to force yourself through it to return. Give me an Athletics check.
You whisper to Kaorin Sakura: Wait, ME? I'm not leaving; I'm staying with Rochette...
Chronicler whispers: I believe she's attempting to leave.
You whisper to Kaorin Sakura: Oh, wait, Rochette is trying to get out, I just noticed that. One sec...

Chronicler whispers: Just waiting on Rochette's roll.
	Chronicler: 	The edge makes a 'sloosh' sound as Rochette violently steps out of the void.
Chronicler whispers: Finch is unable to force its way through - but it makes some progress. You can give me another Athletics to force your way out.
	Chloe Blanchett: 	"What was that sound..? Try going in and out again, see if it happens again."

	Rochette: 	"That felt fleshy and squishy and... ew. Lets you in freely, tries to keep you in."
* Finch pushes against the barrier! He looks partially stuck.
	Chloe Blanchett: 	Chloe grabs Finch and tries to pull him out!
	Rochette: 	Rochette reaches in to pick up Finch as well.
	Rochette: 	"Wind, so air does exist in some form. It blows... inward, as best I could estimate walking in. Border is outlined by a pinkish-purple glow. It's really cold, colder as you get in deeper. Sound doesn't travel well, either--Didn't hear you respond when I called out to you."
	Finch: 	potdammit am I unstuck yet
	Chloe Blanchett: 	"Did it feel like you were pushing against a wall, or pushing against a pull?"
	Finch: 	I will assume I am until told otherwise
Chronicler whispers: You'll need to reroll. Your last roll didn't roll. Looks like you forgot the brackets.
	Rochette: 	"Had to force myself through the edge. It felt like I was inside something. Fleshy, wet. Was going to pull out my dagger if it didn't let me out. Going to pull my dagger out if it doesn't let the little one out."

	Chloe Blanchett: 	"A barrier... or a membrane..." Chloe took a few mental notes.
	Chloe Blanchett: 	Edu Occult Is there any magical phenomena or spell that works similarily to the barrier Rochette explained?
Chronicler whispers: Finch rebounds from the edge and is tossed back in. Finch loses 1/16th of its max HP.

* Saturn Rosewell didn't act before because she thought Rochette and Chloe had it handled, but now seeing the void pocket resist them both, she reaches in to grab him again.
* Rochette steps back into the void. Picks up Finch. Pulls out her dagger and attempts to -cut- the barrier open.
	Chronicler: 	Okay so, two people are doing things. I'll respond to Saturn to go in chronological order.
Chronicler whispers: Flinch can see Saturn's hand and grab hold.
* Finch sees his trainer and tries to latch on to her hand. Somehow. He lacks arms but cotton has a good grip.
	Chloe Blanchett: 	"Can the recall beam shoot into a void pocket?"
Chronicler whispers: Saturn can grab Finch and pull him out.
* Saturn Rosewell grabs Finch, and pulls him out.
	Saturn Rosewell: 	Successfully, I should add.
Avara: 	ok.
	Saturn Rosewell: 	Not sure why that didn't work before.
Avara: 	rochette stepping back in no longer necessary, then?
DNA: 	I would assume not, since he's safe now...
	Chronicler: 	She doesn't need to - if she's going back in for Finch.
	Saturn Rosewell: 	"I don't know if it does, but...I'd rather not risk it if I can help it. It might have erratic behavior."
	Finch: 	Finch is safe now!
	Finch: 	A little distraught, but otherwise doing fine.
	Finch: 	What the hell was that, he wondered? He scrutinized the outside of the barrier. Perception 5d6+4 !
	Rochette : 	Rochette remains on the not-inside side of the void, but keeps a hand resting on her dagger. "So... it feels like being inside something. You can see inside from outside, but you can't see out from inside. It doesn't want things leaving, but wants them entering. It doesn't seem to drain from either living beings or sentient beings. Depending."
Chronicler whispers: He can see into the area as well as he could before and can't visually see anything that would prevent him exit.
You whisper to Kaorin Sakura: Nothing really new then?
Chronicler whispers: None.
	Saturn Rosewell: 	"...hmm..."
	Saturn Rosewell: 	"Well, we know the moisture and air disappeared, but moisture and air are really hard to track."
	Saturn Rosewell: 	"Chloe, you have good eyes, right?"
	Rochette : 	"Fire. Smoke."
	Chloe Blanchett: 	"It's like a black hole that ignores people. Color turns pink when its wavelengths are stretched, something in the center might be absorbing light, just like it is air and moisture."
	Saturn Rosewell: 	"And that's where Natasha comes in. She's going to stay either right on the outside, or inside right on the border, and see where the fire goes."
	Saturn Rosewell: 	"You mean like a black hole?"
	Saturn Rosewell: 	(I just noticed that cHloe just said black hole. I feel dumb.)
DNA: 	Disregard that last line!
	Rochette : 	"Wind flow is a lot less distinct at the very edge of the void pocket. A lot stronger inside... hm."
	Saturn Rosewell: 	"...Let me test this fire theory first..."
* Natasha is summoned. She will stand right on the outside border of the pocket, NOT going in.
	Natasha: 	She will then attempt to use an Incinerate (Line 3 range) towards the inside of the void pocket, and notice where the flames go.
	Chloe Blanchett: 	Chloe keeps a keen eye opening, watching even the most subtle tips of the flame jet. Perception
	Chloe Blanchett: 	Reminds me, I used a skill reroll on occult, if I could get any update/lack of update on that.
	Finch: 	Finch is also glued to the action, to watch the flame! Perception 5d6+4 !

	Rochette: 	"... Just had a thought. If we're going with the notion that the forest or nature is causing this somehow... it may not -appreciate- the involvement of fire."
	Natasha: 	"...upps."

	Chronicler: 	As Natasha spits a line of fire at the void, it caresses the surface area of it and runs along the side before dispersing as it normally would. It never actualy enters the void - following the same 'avoidance' pattern as the mist along the forest floor.
* Natasha finds that curious. Fire doesn't even enter it? Why?
	Natasha: 	She's curious about testing it from the inside, but doesn't want to go without a word from Saturn. Or to put poor Finch in harm's way again.
	Chloe Blanchett: 	"Interesting, either fire doesn't enter, or Type Energy doesn't."
	Saturn Rosewell: 	"Type energy, huh... We can test that too, if you want."
	Chloe Blanchett: 	Chloe reached into the void pocket and lifted the daimond like crystal, taking it out to see if it kept its crystal shape.
	Chronicler: 	The crystal remains a crystal as Chloe takes it out. Perhaps further inspection of it and its unnatural shine...
* Saturn Rosewell had a thought. She scans the crystal thing using her life radar. Intuition 4d6+1 .
Chronicler whispers: The crystal isn't a living creature - and neither is the void. (You can not recognize void pockets by this sight)
	Chloe Blanchett: 	Chloe examines it closer:
	Chloe Blanchett: 	"Hm... Well this is a crystal all right, it's not about to melt back down again. It's actually pretty valuable, this forest is practically bleeding magic."
	Saturn Rosewell: 	"Magic, huh..."
	Chloe Blanchett: 	"This is what the sisters were saying could be used to make enchantments. It would sell for four digits in a marketplace for sure."
* Saturn Rosewell twitched her arm ever so slightly.
	Saturn Rosewell: 	"...That might be a good idea to sell it later, then."
	Chloe Blanchett: 	"... there's no such thing as a free lunch. We could make hundreds of these and then retire if we wanted. But that's just too easy, there's no way something like that doesn't have a side effect we don't want to know about."
	Saturn Rosewell: 	"What is it that you want, then?"
	Chloe Blanchett: 	"To be safe...ish. Well..." Chloe shifted, uncertain. "...something about abusing an alleged fissure in reality for profit gives me a baaad feeling."
	Saturn Rosewell: 	"Then we can always find other ways to be safe. Money isn't really your goal, then. We've done fine with this crystal here, but we can quit while we're ahead."
	Chloe Blanchett: 	Chloe sent out Mimsy!
	Saturn Rosewell: 	"For now let's focus on the void pockets and what we were sent here to do. Then we can turn around and not have to look back."
	Chloe Blanchett: 	"Mimsy, can you make a silk thread for me? 10 meters long perhaps?"

	Chronicler: 	Checking.
DNA: 	I have a feeling it might be limited to 6. I'm going to check myself...
	Chronicler: 	It's limited to 4.
DNA: 	Never mind, the capability is 4. An edge lets it go up to 6.
	Chronicler: 	So, you can make segments of 4-meter silk threads and tie them together if you want.
	Chloe Blanchett: 	Chloe begins to tie the threads together to create a lengthy rope. General education to make sure it's a rope made right
	Chloe Blanchett: 	Chloe also ties one of the ends into a large knot to have a throwable weight.
	Finch: 	Finch has an odd feeling he might be used as a target or ground for this rope.
	Chronicler: 	Give me an Education Roll (General) for tying (sp?) them.

	Chloe Blanchett: 	Chloe feels no shame in letting Natasha take over the moment she looks like she knows what she's doing.

	Creature of Aura: 	Creature of Aura lands on the forest floor about 18-meters from you. It's head turns directly to your group.

	Chloe Blanchett: 	"W-w-well... I-if it is afraid..." Chloe swallowed to wetten her throat, "That makes the idea that the pocket and the forest oppose each other more plausible." Chloe tries not to back up and fall into the pocket, but the massive creature was frightening as well.

Creature of Aura whispers: It appears to be a collection of aura. No definite aura, however.
	Saturn Rosewell: 	"It's...it's like...totally made of aura..."
	Natasha: 	"Snap van te maken!" Natasha gives Saturn a minor slap across the face.
	Chloe Blanchett: 	"Is it related to that Fate creature? ... is it Fate...?"

	Creature of Aura: 	Creature of Aura stops its approach and tilts its head at your group. After a moment - it's unstable image solidifies and becomes a radiant golden fiery form, "You all. You enter a domain unaware. You tamper with a force of ruin. Your intentions?"
	Chloe Blanchett: 	"K-knowledge..." Chloe whimpered.

Creature of Aura whispers: You wouldn't know if it was fate or not. Though, Fate itself isn't an unknown creature. It's rumored to be a four-legged Pokemon similar to the sword-trio.
	Creature of Aura: 	Creature of Aura turns its head to Chloe specifically, "Knowledge of what, exactly?"
	Chloe Blanchett: 	"What is it, why is it, how do we get rid of it, -should- we get rid of it..?" Chloe asked, every question she had rushing to her mouth without a thought.
Avara: 	ok, awake now.
	Saturn Rosewell: 	"Ik kan het niet helpen.... ik ben bang...." Saturn was still shaking, terrified.
	Chloe Blanchett: 	Chloe took Saturn's arm. Part to comfort herself, but Saturn may have needed it more. WIth both hands Chloe clung tight, a reminder to Saturn that she was there.
* Saturn Rosewell was now shaking a little less. Not by much, but enough to be noticeable. The terror seemed to subside, though the fear was still there.

	Creature of Aura: 	"Fate itself attempts to contain them. By doing so, its influence has spread far beyond his lair and the result is the mutation of the landscape. Permanent removal has yet to be discovered." Creature of Aura pauses and looks over the group, "You have been closely monitored since your arrival. Your beliefs will be tolerated ans your data mining will be allowed."
	Rochette: 	Rochette shifts to stand between the Aura-beings and her decidedly squishier comrades, looking at them. She stays out of the way enough to permit conversation.

	Chloe Blanchett: 	Chloe pulled the thread out of the center of the sphere, hoping it wasn't causing more trouble. "Were you behind that illusionary woman?"
	Creature of Aura: 	"Negative."
	Rochette: 	"You said that thing's made entirely of aura, right?"
	Chloe Blanchett: 	"Do you know who was? The illusion clamed it was a fissure in reality... you said it was missing data... It sounds like everyone agrees what it is."

	Creature of Aura: 	"Negative."
	Rochette: 	"Authorization granted by -who-? Vague allusions to authority does not indicate actually having authority. And to be perfectly blunt, I'm trying to drag some details out of you to make you less frightening to my companions. While I plan for what to do if we end up offending you somehow."
	Chloe Blanchett: 	"D-don't go trying to start a fight. She's helping as much as she can."
	Creature of Aura: 	"By Fate the first. This domain is Hers and her descendants."

	Chloe Blanchett: 	"I've only heard a few stories... something called Fate lived here, it's how the forest got its name...." Chloe had begun to calm down, largely due to the civil nature of the otherwise terrifying creature. Her arms still warpped around Saturn's, however.
	Creature of Aura: 	"Fate is an offset of Arceus. But Fate the first is no more. It is easiest said that Fate is merely a Pokémon bearing many gifts."
	Chloe Blanchett: 	"You said the hole was one theory, do you know other theories?" Chloe asked up again, "A-and maybe the-um... the logic behind it?"
	Chloe Blanchett: 	"I guess you heard my theory..."
	Saturn Rosewell: 	"What kind of...gifts...?"
	Creature of Aura: 	"Fate the first was the one who came up with the theory. She was present during the plagues of the world and stood first against the arrival. Data missing for outsider theories."
	Creature of Aura: 	"The gifts of Fate the first are not containable in description. While She was not capable of creation like Her counterpart She was capable of alteration of said creation. This began as something She suppressed but after an unavoidable encounter with humans, She took a more active role in Her domain. By stroke of luck, Her domain was left untouched by what remained of humans."
	Chloe Blanchett: 	"The holes look like they're fighting something..." Chloe said. She worked to push her love for discovery to the forefront of her mind, letting the high overtake her fear so she could explain. "It seems to pull everything to the center, clensing the area of the sticky white goo, and other strange elements to this forest. It has a bubble around it though, and the bubble is more than just an event horizon, it has a fleshy shell to it, Rochette said. So the bubble is trying to keep something out, or prevent something from leaving."
	Saturn Rosewell: 	"Did you say...altering creation...?" Saturn had stopped shaking, but there was a sense of dread in her voice.
	Rochette: 	"Keeping things in, definitely. It didn't resist entry. Only exits."
	Chloe Blanchett: 	"So... I'm not sure if the bubble is a part of the fissure, or if the bubble is fighting the fissure."
	Saturn Rosewell: 	"...I would think it's something that's alive, but...it's not alive."
	Creature of Aura: 	"Affirmative." Creature of Aura says to Saturn.

* Natasha shakes her head slowly. She thought the figures that encountered Fate would have familiar names. But it didn't sound familiar at all.
	Saturn Rosewell: 	"If that's true...why don't I sense any life in it?"

	Chloe Blanchett: 	Chloe herself winced as the creature spoke again.

	Rochette: 	"You speak like a computer. Creator unit is?"

	Rochette: 	"Reason Fate III has not had you investigate further into the cause and nature of void pockets is?"

	Rochette: 	"I suggest you inquire about this. The rifts are expanding, and are an inherent disruption of any order in this forest. Eventually, any order anywhere."
	Chloe Blanchett: 	"It sounds like Fate the Third has taken it more seriously than anyone else...." Chloe said, somewhat depressed. "We're not qualified researchers or anything, it was just a job the small village Fairview was handing off to anyone who asked."
	Rochette: 	"Relatedly, likelihood that Fate III possesses deeper knowledge of the nature of void pockets is?"
	Creature of Aura: 	"High."
	Gd01: 	Gd01 suddenly dings, like that of a microwave, "Information."
	Chloe Blanchett: 	"It sounds like we've heard the most of it already." Chloe looked back at the pocket. "... what if we fired an attack, straight at the middle, while on the inside?"
	Gd01: 	"You have been given permission to visit Lair." Gd01 begins approaching your group again - moving toward Saturn with an open hand, palm up.
* Saturn Rosewell instinctively recoils at the sight of Gd01 approaching her.
	Rochette: 	"If we're going to have hostile visitors from outer realms again," she says, cracking her knuckles, "I want to be ready. I want -everyone- to be ready. Last time, we weren't. Last time, it nearly destroyed the world." She shifts her position slightly as Gd01 approaches. "State your intentions."
	Gd01: 	Gd01 stops, 8 meters from the group, "Information. Sensory installation onto compatible unit. Designation Saturn is the compatible platform for installation."
	Chloe Blanchett: 	"Visiting Lair... sounds ominously promising." Chloe said.
	Rochette: 	"Define sensory installation. Purpose, process, effects."
	Saturn Rosewell: 	"Wh-wh-what!? You're crazy if you think I'll let you anywhere near me!"
	Gd01: 	"Sensory installation will allow unit to detect creations of worlds origin and others separately and find waypoint of Lair readily accessible at all times when present in world origin."
	Chloe Blanchett: 	Chloe gave Saturn's arm another squeeze, "Can you install into me?"
	Rochette: 	"Is she designated compatible because of her ability to sense Aura?"
	Saturn Rosewell: 	"N-no...no...I don't want...anything to do with that, with you..." Her voice was back to shaking again.
	Natasha: 	"Ze is als een bang konijn..." Natasha murmured.
	Chloe Blanchett: 	Chloe looked at Natasha. For a second her mind wondered if a Legendary pokemon would have the same aura sensing abilities. But deflecting the offer from Saturn to Natasha would do little to calm Saturn down... Chloe turned back to the Creature, "C-can it be me?"
	Gd01: 	"Designated unit is the only one compatible currently."
	Rochette: 	"Specify criteria for compatibility."
* Saturn Rosewell started to shift her feet a bit.
	Chloe Blanchett: 	"Saturn, we've learned so much. We can go back to town, share what we know and get payment. After that we can go to different towns or take different jobs, whatever you want." Chloe smiled reassuringly, in her best charming and calming voice. 10
	Chloe Blanchett: 	"We don't need to do this."
	Rochette: 	"We are attempting to find a viable alternative. Allow me to be perfectly blunt, as you seem to have missed your emotional empathy lessons. You -frighten- my companion. You are not trusted. You induce terror."
	Rochette: 	"If you continue to frighten my companion, I may have to take counter-measures. I have attempted to pre-empt this by offering you chances to de-mystify yourself and give us reasons to trust you."
	Gd01: 	"Negligible. Compatibility requires fundamental connections to currently evolved Pokémon."
	Saturn Rosewell: 	"No! Leave me alone!!"
	Saturn Rosewell: 	With that, Saturn grabbed Finch in both arms--
	Finch: 	!
	Saturn Rosewell: 	--and ran about 4 metres into the void pocket.
* Natasha was knocked off, left behind outside. "Saturn!" she yelled.
	Chloe Blanchett: 	"I'm sorry, we'll be heading out now. Someday later, maybe another group will take your offer- Saturn!"
	Chloe Blanchett: 	Chloe was holding on to Saturn to assure her, can I attempt to "mantain grapple?"
	Natasha: 	"Kom terug, alsjeblieft! Saturn!" Natasha shouted into the void pocket, though she probably couldn't be heard.
	Chronicler: 	I'm gonna say no - as it wasn't a legit grapple.
	Chloe Blanchett: 	Chloe rushes in after her!
	Rochette: 	"Specific pokemon, or any?" She shifts again, standing fully between Saturn and Gd01. Then she sees what happened. Looks to Gd01. Her expression is pure disdain made manifest. She grabs Chloe and hops onto Roland to pursue via flight!
	Saturn Rosewell: 	She was murmuring ever so quietly, they couldn't hear her outside, "They can't hurt me here..."
	Finch: 	Finch was tight in Saturn's grip. He couldn't really move, but he could tell he didn't really need to.
	Chloe Blanchett: 	It's only four meters, Chloe neglects to wait for the flights. She crouched by Saturn and shouted, worried her voice wouldn't carry, "Come on Saturn! We're going to Fairview! We're leaving the forest! It can't hurt you! I wont let him!"

Avara: 	rochette's primary purpose for grabbing chloe was AIR.

	Chloe Blanchett: 	Chloe didn't consider the air! After her speech, heard or not, she begins to collapse in front of Saturn!

	Chronicler: 	Once inside, the area feels much colder and there's a slight draft leading inward. There's a hue of ever appearing and fading purplish-pink along where the bubble was. But the outside of the void cannot be seen at all.

	Saturn Rosewell: 	"!"
	Chronicler: 	And yes, Chloe can be heard, though she sounds muffled.
* Saturn Rosewell took a deep breath and shoved Finch in Chloe's face, beckoning Rochette jurriedly.

	Chronicler: 	Although there's a Roland and Rochette in the void with you three.
* Rochette and Roland are not far behind, and will land next to Chloe and Saturn. "I wasn't going to let them do anything to you. Neither was Chloe."
* Natasha is still waiting on the outside, unable to really do much.
	Chloe Blanchett: 	"Gwuaah *coughwheesecough*" Chloe manages to choke down what little air is provided for her, emptying her lungs faster than she had thought. The shock to her body brought tears to her eyes.
	Natasha: 	She's staring in, expectantly, though occasionally glancing back to the other creatures.
* Saturn Rosewell is still shaking.
	Saturn Rosewell: 	"This..."
	Rochette: 	"We were looking for alternatives. Leaving, others to receive the so-called implant. We aren't going to let them hurt you. To be perfectly blunt, I was planning how to -kill- them if they tried anything."
	Saturn Rosewell: 	"This is not what I bargained for! I want out of here, as soon as possible!"
	Saturn Rosewell: 	"I don't want those freaks getting anywhere near me!"
	Chloe Blanchett: 	"Th-then lets go... we can walk all day and all night if we have to. Until you feel safe..." Her voice didn't carry far, a faint whisper by the time the others would hear.
	Rochette: 	"We'll leave. You can ride on Roland if it'll make you feel safer. He wouldn't let them get to you, and he can fly higher than any of them can reach."
	Saturn Rosewell: 	"...Yeah, that'd be nice. Just, we need to go back for Natasha...!"
	Saturn Rosewell: 	"Then, then we'll just high-tail it the heck out of here."
	Chloe Blanchett: 	"An' Mimsy..."
	Saturn Rosewell: 	"And Mimsy too, right. I almost forgot about her."
	Chloe Blanchett: 	Chloe got to her feet, held her breath and tried to make a running charge at the wall. Athletics!
Chronicler whispers: Your Pokemon left outside can see Gd01 ascend into the forest ceiling - disappearing from view.
	Rochette: 	"We will." She dismounts Roland's back, and Roland extends a leaf-wing down to let Saturn aboard.
* Saturn Rosewell climbs aboard, and holds onto Roland's neck, clearly reluctant to move herself and wanting some kind of physical support
	Chronicler: 	Chloe manages to throw herself through the pleasantly warm swirling wall and back into the Forest.
	Chloe Blanchett: 	"Gwah..." She recalled Mimsy before she forgot, finding tears welling in her eyes.
* Rochette walks with Roland and Saturn back to the barrier, keeping a hand on Saturn's arm, until they get to it. She pulls out her dagger, attempting to slash open a gap for Roland to pass through.
	Chronicler: 	The dagger doesn't appear to be any more or less effective than when Rochette tore at it earlier. (Give me an Athletics)
	Saturn Rosewell: 	"Th-th-...thanks guys. I mean it." Tears were starting to well up. Once they got out of the wall, she'd grab Natasha at the first opportunity, recalling Finch if necessary.
	Rochette: 	((she's trying to make a gap that lasts long enough for roland to pass through with saturn without disruption, rather than one for her to pass through herself. she hasn't attempted this before))
	Chloe Blanchett: 	Chloe hugged, Saturn, fighting tears herself, "I'm so sorry... it was all my idea, my fault..."
	Saturn Rosewell: 	"No, please, don't...you didn't know."
	Saturn Rosewell: 	"...We all agreed to this. We couldn't have known those freaks would show up..."
	Chloe Blanchett: 	She caught herself and let go, rubbing her eyes and cutting off her tears. She shook her head, "N-no... I did. I saw you getting uncomfortable, but I was too distracted trying to learn what they had to say..."
	Chronicler: 	Rochette can successfully make the 'wall' weak enough for Roland to pass through with his mounted allies.
	Natasha: 	At that time, Natasha will yank Mimsy and hop up with Roland!
