Well, you haven't been here since you started college, so I thought a walk down memory lane could be fun.

Oh ya you're right, there are dark clouds. Well, if it rains my apartment’s nearby, so don't worry.

(Starts walking to apartment)

Oh I forgot to mention, I made your favourite meal! I’ve been practising ever since you left!

By the way, I was wondering what happened with that guy of yours? I know your relationship was on the rocks.

Oh you broke up with him? (slyly) I…  I’m sorry it didn’t work out.

Hey, well look on the bright side you’ll always have me.

Oh, I didn't say anything. I was just thinking of how much I care about you and how much you’ve changed my life for the better.

We talked about everything from the books we liked to the places we’d go.

You promised you’d come back after you finished college, and here you are. I don’t think I could’ve gone another year without you.

I know you just got back, but I can’t help but think of travelling with you. To think as kids we dreamed of going to France. Maybe now that you’ve finished college we could go?

By the way, what do you plan on doing now that you’ve finished school?

Ah damn, the rain came faster than I thought. My apartment isn't too far from here, let’s make a run for it.

(Apartment, unlocks door) soften rain ambiance)

(out of breath) Running with you really takes me back, I haven’t had this much fun in a while. Now that you’re here, I’m sure it’s just beginning.

Damn, it really started to downpour out there, we’re soaked. Let me get you some fresh clothes and I’ll put your stuff in the dryer.

(Steps in and out)

Here, I picked this out for you a while ago. I hope it fits, just give me your clothes when you're done. I’ll take your jacket now. Dinner will be ready in five minutes. Come join me when you're done warming up.

Hey dinners almost ready, uh… you look… beautiful. Sorry if it’s a little big. I thought you’d look good in it, but you look better than I could have imagined.
