This guide assumes that you know how to beat the game normally and
are at least vaguely familiar with Feraligatr% strategies for
any% glitchless.

Manips
Reset for a male toto with decent stats or do TID Manip.
If possible to manip the odd egg to be Cleffa.
Optional: there are several no encounter manips.
Optional: manip optimal spearow stats.
Optional: manip optimal stats for gift pokes in general.

Set the day to Sunday.
Pickup toto, KO one or two encounters for EXP.
Probably want to pickup most items.
Beat Rival and learn rage.
Youngster Mikey - use rage.
Call mom before she calls you to save time.

Play normally. KO wooper. Skip picking up more items we can come back with repels. So after we fight all the way to talk to kurt. Buy repels and X-ATKs
and then walk back to New Bark Town or any town with water that high level surf encounters will be later.

On the way back, fight the optionals that are chronologically after the bug catcher guarding a pokeball. this will give Toto enough EXP to evolve after
Koffing (Yougster with rat, Goldeen fisherman, Wooper, and all in tunnel and hiker anthony)


In my practice run Togepi was hatched in New Bark Town and we KO'd L10 Karps
until we got L6. Teach Swift to Togepi in the place it was hatched.
*in real run, town that tower is in would make sense*

Take Togepi to the Sprout Tower after KOing rat and BC1 and BC2.

Teach Cut over Scrath

Pickup all items in forest.
Go to daycare. Save the game before getting the odd egg.
Give Crocanaw to the daycare person.
Walk and take the center.
Walk and get bike.
Bike to Kenya.
Bike to daycare, walk out and get the Hidden Super potion.
Walk back in and take the mail from Spearow and swap
peck with growl before giving spearow to the daycare lady.

Bike up and down until the egg hatches. Reset if it's anything
other that igglybuff or cleffa b/c we need 3 evolve.
Pichu might be acceptable, need to recall how to get thunderstone.

(in practice I had to reset once off a magby)

and funny enough 2nd try I got a shiny igglybuff after having just
gotten Wigglytuff% wr earlier this morning in Red/Blue.




Swiftx3 on Camper Todd and get his number.

re-enter daycare, Take mail, swap peck with Leer. Give Spearow.

Hatch the egg.

Swap places Crocanaw with Togepi. CHeck togepi move order to keep charm.
Mode: Shift.

Swap Train Clef/Puff.

Wiggly fought the trainers in gym and leaves gym when on the cusp of leveling up so that we level up in hatch route to gain happiness.

At L18 we head into the underground to clear it out and get a haircut.

Swap Kenya to front to sweep rest of lighthouse.

swap Eevee back to front for Rival.

Bike back to the daycare, Swap Eevee for Togepi. Eevee needs bite and QA to be in slots 3 and 4.

teach headbutt to Togepi, and buy a pokedoll.
Bike/surf to gyrados.

Go get the EXP Share.
And give Togepi the EXP Share.
Fight wild surf encounters with Kenya in Togepi's hatch area.
Until we have a Togetic.
(Once Togepi is ~ L26 it can KO the encounters on its own)
Mine evolved at L28, but I took a lot of extra steps.
Used 15 or so X-items on Togepi with a hooked Magikarp.
